There is disclosed a composition for a ceramic substrate comprising a mixture of: powdered borosilicate-based glass comprising about 5% to 17.5% by weight of B O , about 28% to 44% by weight of SiO , 0% to about 20% by weight of Al O , and about 36% to 50% by weight of MO (where MO is at least one selected from the group consisting of CaO, MgO, and BaO), and a powdered ceramic; in which the amount of the powdered borosilicate-based glass is about 40% to 49% by weight based on the total amount of the composition for a ceramic substrate, and the amount of the powdered ceramic is about 60% to 51% by weight based on the total amount of the composition for a ceramic substrate.

A solid electrolyte fuel cell has an air electrode, a fuel electrode and a solid electrolyte film disposed between the air electrode and the fuel electrode. The solid electrolyte film is formed of yttria-stabilized zirconia in which alumina is added, the concentration of the supplemented alumina at a surface layer section of the solid electrolyte film being larger than that at a center layer section of the solid electrolyte film.

Solid electrolyte fuel cell

A solid-electrolyte fuel cell stack comprises three-layered films and separators alternately stacked with each other. Each of the three-layered films comprises a solid-electrolyte film, a fuel electrode and an air electrode with the solid-electrolyte film interposed between the fuel electrode and the air electrode. The three-layered film and the separator are bonded together with a glass bonding agent and a ceramic bonding agent separately interposed therebetween.

A solid oxide fuel cell which has a solid electrolyte having an air electrode and a fuel electrode on its upper and lower surfaces respectively. The fuel electrode is made of a mixture of nickel, zirconium oxide and chromium oxide.

A distributor which is a component of a solid oxide Fuel cell and works to distribute a fuel gas or air to a fuel gas side electrode or an air side electrode evenly. A base of the distributor is porous, and the porous base is coated with a reinforcing agent and a conductive agent.

Distributor for a solid oxide fuel cell and manufacturing process thereof

Disclosed is a solid oxide fuel cell of a laminate structure. A solid electrolyte having a fuel side electrode and an air side electrode on either side and conductive distributors are arranged one upon another so as to form a cell in the shape of a disk. Further, thus made cells are connected via interconnectors so as to form a solid oxide fuel cell of a laminate structure.
