An operation starting method for a spinning machine of the type wherein a draft device, an air jetting nozzle and a false twisting device of the nip belt type are disposed in this order, constituted such that, in a condition of the false twisting device wherein belts are held in contact with each other at a nip point, when operation of the spinning machine is started, an air flow directed toward the false twisting device is produced on the air jetting nozzle side of the false twisting device while another air flow directed away from the false twisting device is produced on the opposite side of the false twisting device to the air jetting nozzle.

Operation starting method for spinning machine

A fiber bundle produced by feeding combed fibers into a rotating rotor to accumulate the fibers over the inner circumference of the rotor is drawn out therefrom and is introduced into a false twisting unit, where the fiber bundle is false-twisted so that the twists are transmitted to a portion of the fiber bundle adjacent to the fibers accumulated over the inner surface of the rotor. A guide funnel having a guide surface extending near to the fiber accumulating surface is disposed within the rotor.

A yarn end readying device for seeking and removing an end of yarn from a spinning cop. The cops are transported along a cop feeding line extended between a spinning frame and winding units of the winder being carried on carriers respectively. The yarn readying device includes a cop hanging mechanism and a yarn end readying mechanism for unwinding and cutting a starting end of the cop, cutting a tangled yarns and inserting the starting yarn end into a bore of a bobbin of the cop.

A cop transporting system for an automatic winder in which a single automatic winder can wind a plurality of different kinds of yarn at a time. A winder including a number of winding units therein is divided into a plurality of sections each including a plurality of winding units therein as a group, each of the sections having a specific cop supplying passage provided therein along the winding units. Each of the sections have a cop supply device provided therefor and cops fed out from the cop supply devices are transported to the specific supplying passage of the sections corresponding to the cop supply devices.

Cop transporting systems for an automatic winder

A cop supplying apparatus in an automatic winder includes a full cop delivery conveyor belt and an empty cop delivery conveyor belt arranged along each of a plurality of winding units of the winder. A cop fitted on an individual cop deliverying carrier is travelled on the conveyor belt and a passage for receiving the carrier from the conveyor belt is formed in each winding unit. The cops are located at predetermined position of the passage and after a predetermined number of carriers have been stored on the passage, subsequent cops are blocked by the last carrier stored in the passage. The device for delivering the cop to the yarn feed position from the conveyor belt is constructed by a rotary disc and guide plates which are forming the passage for the carrier on the disc.
