A valve timing adjusting device includes: a first rotor rotating integrally with a crankshaft; a second rotor integrally secured to an intake or exhaust camshaft; and an engaging cavity provided in one of the first rotor and the second rotor. A lock pin is housed in a housing hole provided in the other of the first rotor and the second rotor, protruded by the energizing force of an energizing device at the time of hydraulic pressure reduction, to thus abut on the wall of the engaging cavity from an oblique direction to give a relative rotating force to the first rotor and the second rotor.

Valve timing adjusting device

A valve timing adjusting device includes a first rotor that rotates synchronously with a crankshaft of an engine; a second rotor that is relatively rotatable by a predetermined angle within the first rotor, and is secured on the end face of an intake or an exhaust camshaft; and a tension spring that acts as an assisting spring for adjusting a relative position between both the rotors.

Solenoid valve fixing structure

The present invention relates to a solenoid valve fixing structure. In an apparatus for suppressing evaporated fuel gas emission, of the prior art, the solenoid valve is fixed to a frame of a vehicle independently from the fixing of a check valve or an air filter. Hence, there are drawbacks, for example, that the number of the fabrication elements is large, and the fabrication performance is small. The present invention propose a solenoid valve fixing structure constructed as a module comprised of a solenoid valve, a check valve and an air filter. Namely a solenoid valve 10 and a check valve 8 are fixed onto a cover 3 of an air filter 1. The number of the fabrication elements can be reduced. The size of the apparatus can be made small, by using the module. In an embodiment, a nipple (11a) of the solenoid valve (10) is inserted through an O-ring (13) into an insertion hole (3a) disposed in the cover (2), and the solenoid valve 10 is fixed to the cover (2) of the air filter (1) using bolts (14) arranged so that its longitudinal direction is perpendicular to the moving direction (12) of the plunger is the solenoid valve. Therefore, the fixing onto the cover (3) of the air filter is easy. The noisy sound at the operation of the solenoid valve can be reduced.

Integrated pressure sensor unit and solenoid valve unit

In a clamping circuit comprising a voltage comparator for comparing an input signal voltage supplied to the signal input terminal and a reference voltage, a clamping circuit of the present invention comprises a bias voltage supplying circuit and a switch circuit inserted between the bias voltage supplying circuit and the signal input terminal. The input signal voltage is compared with the reference voltage by the voltage comparator, and the switch circuit is ON/OFF-controlled on the basis of the comparison result. When the switch circuit is enabled, a bias voltage supplying circuit is supplied to the signal input terminal, and the input signal voltage is clamped at a voltage equal to the reference voltage. When the switch circuit comprises a CMOS transfer gate, a voltage drop does not occur across the switch circuit regardless of the value of the bias voltage.

Clamping circuit

In a clamping circuit comprising a voltage comparator for comparing an input signal voltage supplied to the signal input terminal and a reference voltage, a clamping circuit of the present invention comprises a bias voltage supplying circuit and a switch circuit inserted between the bias voltage supplying circuit and the signal input terminal. The input signal voltage is compared with the reference voltage by the voltage comparator, and the switch circuit is ON/OFF-controlled on the basis of the comparison result. When the switch circuit is enabled, a bias voltage of the bias voltage supplying circuit is supplied to the signal input terminal, and the input signal voltage is clamped at a voltage equal to the reference voltage. When the switch circuit comprises a CMOS transfer gate, a voltage drop does not occur across the switch circuit regardless of the value of the bias voltage.

In a semiconductor circuit including a wave shaper circuit and a driver circuit, the wave shaper circuit is supplied with the reference potential via a wiring, which is provided independent of a wiring for supplying the reference potential to a driver circuit. With this feature, a variation in the potential of the wiring for supplying the reference potential to the wave shaper circuit is minimized.
