Disclosed is a vehicular lamp including: a lamp outer case including a lamp housing having an opening and a cover configured to close the opening; a first board mounted with a first light source package; a second board mounted with a second light source package; and an optical member mounted with the first board and the second board. The first board and the second board are different kinds of boards that have different heat dissipation performances. Since the heat dissipation property for the heat generated when the first light source package is driven and the heat dissipation property of the heat generated when the second light source package is driven becomes different from each other, the heat dissipation performances may be properly controlled depending on an irradiation state.

Vehicular lamp

A vehicular headlamp which includes a vessel-like lamp body, a front lens coupled to a front opening of the lamp body to define a lamp chamber, a discharge bulb serving as a light source and a reflector for reflecting light beam emitting from the discharge bulb, wherein the lamp body is provided at a back wall thereof an opening part for exchanging the bulb, a starter unit installing therein a starter circuit constituting a part of a discharge bulb lighting device is secured to the opening part of the lamp body, and a stabilizer constituting a part of the discharge bulb lighting device is secured to a bottom part of the lamp body outside the lamp chamber.

Vehicular headlamps

In the headlamp for use in a vehicle, a bulb is inserted into a bulb insertion hole formed in a reflector disposed within a lamp body from behind the reflector, the bulb is fixed to and held in the bulb insertion hole by a set spring provided in the peripheral edge portion of the bulb insertion hole, and an opening for bulb replacement is formed in the lamp body. According to the headlamp, the opening for bulb replacement is formed in the upper wall of the lamp body, thereby allowing the bulb to be replaced from above the headlamp.

Headlamp for a vehicle

A headlight device for use in an automobile and of the type including a lamp body having a recess which opens forward, a lens covering the forward opening of the lamp body and a reflective mirror tiltably supported in the lamp body through one rotatable support portion and two space adjusting portions. Each space adjusting portion consists of a nut member supported on the reflective mirror, an adjusting rod rotatably supported on the lamp body and having a screw-thread portion for screw-threadingly engaging with the nut member, a gear unit consisting of two intermeshing bevel gears with one of which being connected to the rear end of the adjusting rod, and an actuating rod with the front end of which being located near to the front end of a side surface of the lamp body and the rear end of which being connected to the other bevel gear of the gear unit.

Headlight for automobile

A headlight device for use in an automobile and of the type including a lamp body having a recess opening in the front direction, a lens covering the front end of the lamp body, a reflective mirror being formed of a synthetic resin material and tiltably supported between the lamp body and the lens, and a lamp supported on the reflective mirror. The reflective mirror is supported on the lamp body through one rotatable portion and two space adjusting portions. Each space adjusting portion consists of a nut member supported on the mirror and an adjusting rod rotatably supported on the lamp body and having a screw-thread portion for engaging screw-threadingly with the nut member. A bracket is formed on the reflective mirror integrally for supporting the nut member and has a recess in the front side thereof. And the front surface of a wall defining the front end of the recess acts as a part of the reflective mirror.

A lamp socket assembly for an automotive headlamp, wherein a mount is formed at the back of the headlamp reflector. A socket fixture is screwed to the reflector at a rear surface of the lamp. The mount has a plurality of partial circumferential depressions. The socket fixture has corresponding cuts about its central hole. However, the cuts extend over only a portion of the depressions. A lamp has an integral socket with a focal point plate having a plurality of radially extending tongues. The tongues can be inserted through the cuts into the depressions and be engaged therein. In a dual lamp unit, one of the depressions of the mount for the auxiliary lamp can have a protrusion not present in the main lamp. The tongues for the main and auxiliary lamp sockets differ so that the main lamp socket cannot be engaged with the mount for the auxiliary lamp.

Light bulb mounting structure in automotive lamp

The present invention relates to an aiming device for adjusting the optical axis of an automobile head lamp, characterized in that it comprises a hollow bearing attached to a movable member which is a lamp unit or a reflection mirror to be moved for adjusting the optical axis, a gear case housing a worm gear and a spur gear engaged with each other, the gear case being attached to a fixed member which is an autobody or a housing for supporting said movable member, an aiming screw whose head is fitted into said hollow bearing and whose screw portion is screwed into a female threaded hole formed in the shaft center of said spur gear, and a device for inhibiting said aiming screw from rotating circumferentially.
