A sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet stacking portion on which sheets are stacked, a sheet feeding unit configured to feed the sheets stacked on the sheet stacking portion, a slope portion arranged downstream of the sheets in a feeding direction of the sheets stacked on the sheet stacking portion and configured to separate the sheets from each other, the sheets fed by the sheet feeding unit being bent when contacting the slope portion, and a contact width variable mechanism configured to change a contact width in which the slope portion and a leading edge of the sheet, in the feeding direction, fed by the sheet feeding unit are in contact with each other by moving part of the slope portion in the feeding direction or in a direction opposite to the feeding direction.

Sheet feeding apparatus and image forming apparatus

A sheet feeding device includes a sheet supporting portion, a sheet feeding portion, and a movable regulating portion. The sheet feeding portion feeds a sheet bundle uppermost sheet. The movable regulating portion is disposed downstream of the sheet bundle in a sheet feeding direction such that the movable regulating portion is tiltable between a regulation position and a regulation release position. While the movable regulating portion regulates the sheet bundle movement in the regulation position, the sheet feeding portion forms a loop in the uppermost sheet between the sheet feeding portion and the movable regulating portion, the movable regulating portion is moved to the regulation release position after loop formation to remove the formed loop, and the movable regulating portion is returned to the regulation position after loop removal such that the movable regulating portion raises the uppermost sheet leading end to separate the uppermost sheet from other sheets.

A sheet feed device includes a sheet stacking portion that has a rotation stacking portion which is rotatable, a sheet feed roller that feeds the sheet stacked in the sheet stacking portion, and a separating portion that separates the sheet fed by the sheet feed roller. The rotation stacking portion is configured to be rotatable about a rotation fulcrum on a downstream side in a sheet feed direction.

Sheet feed device and image forming apparatus with rotation stacking portion

A plurality of output destinations such as a mail server and a printer are connected via a network, and image formats or resolutions are set as image scanning parameters for each output destination. A parameter that is common to each of the output destinations is selected from the set parameters, an image is read in accordance with the parameter selected and the read image data is output to each of the output destinations via the network.
