A terephthalic acid monoamide derivative of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R is a straight- or branched-chain lower alkyl group; R' and R' may be the same or different, and represent a hydrogen atom, or a straight- or branched-chain lower alkyl group) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are disclosed.
