Provided is a field-effect transistor which has a high mobility and a low variation of mobility. A field-effect transistor at least comprising a substrate, a semiconductor layer, a source electrode, and a drain electrode is produced by forming the source electrode and/or the drain electrode so that the source electrode and/or the drain electrode has a taper shape in a cross-section which is parallel with a channel length direction and perpendicular to the substrate, and forming the semiconductor layer through coating process.

Field-effect transistor, processes for producing the same, and electronic device using the same

A field effect transistor including a gate insulation portion, an organic semiconductor portion, a source electrode and a drain electrode, wherein when a voltage is applied to the gate at 70&#xb0; C. for 5.0&#xb1;0.1 hours so that the field strength in the gate insulation portion would be 100&#xb1;5 MV/m, the change in the threshold voltage is within 5 V. The organic semiconductor portion has a high driving stability, of which the change in characteristics by driving is thereby small.

In a FRP leaf spring consisting of a main body and a rib, the main body has a taper portion so tapered that the thickness of the main body varies continuously along the longitudinal direction thereof, and the rib is projected integrally from the main body in the direction of the thickness thereof, extending along the longitudinal direction of the main body, so that the total sectional area of the main body and the rib, as well as the width of the main body, is kept substantially fixed in every position along the longitudinal direction to ensure uniform stress distribution.

Leaf spring

A hollow stabilizer manufactured from a material obtained by adding a minute amount (0.001-0.01% by weight) of boron to either a carbon steel tubing having a relatively low carbon concentration of 0.20-0.35% for mechanical and structural purposes or to a carbon steel tubing for general structural purposes. The carbon steel tubing thus provided is bent in a prescribed stabilizer form. The bent tubing is water quenched, for example, to a greater hardness than HRC 43. The water-hardened bent tubing is later tempered to a hardness HRC, ranging between 36 and 43, at a temperature of, for example, 300.degree.-380.degree. C. for a proper length of time. The hollow stabilizer obtained by the aforementioned heat-treating steps has a much greater fatigue strength.

Method of manufacturing a hollow stabilizer

A car stabilizer and a manufacturing method therefor are disclosed. In this method, a straight elongated starting material of carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.10% to 0.35% is first directly quenched by quick heating, and then bent into a predetermined shape. Thereafter, the material is annealed at a low temperature of 100.degree. C. to 400.degree. C., shot-peened as required, and then coated. Thus, a stabilizer is obtained as a final product. The coating may be executed between the steps of quenching and bending.

Method of manufacturing a car stabilizer

The present invention relates to a novel, heat-resisting layer-constructions consisting of base substrates such as plates, boards and sheets, and silicone polymers having high contents of aryl radicals painted and thermally cured to adhere on the surfaces of the said base substrates, and the method of preparing the same. Starting materials of the said silicone polymers are polyaralkylsiloxanes in which the molar ratio of aryl radicals are: aryl radicals/(aryl radicals+alkyl radicals)=0.65 to 1, i.e., from 65 to 100 molar percent, and the functionality of the polymerizable functional groups is as average between 2 and 3. Most of the silicone polymer thin films coated and strongly adhered on to the surface of the said substrates are colorless and transparent, and all the polymer films have high resistivity against heat, light, chemicals, water, moisture and weathering tests. The polymer films have also good anti-cracking resistivity against flexing or bending and can be excellent undercoats of vacuum coatings such as vacuum deposition, sputtering and ion plating. The layer constructions can be manufactured with good workability without causing any environmental pollution.

Heat-resisting layer-constructions and method for preparing the same

A reflector includes a base body made of a metallic material having substantially the same ionization potential as that of aluminum. A reflecting layer made of aluminum is formed over one surface of the base body by vacuum deposition. A light-transmitting water-insoluble inorganic oxide layer is formed on the aluminum reflecting layer. The light-transmitting inorganic oxide layer has its micropores sealed by H.sub.2 O a carboxylate of an iron family element having a low valence.

Reflector and method for manufacturing the same

A reflector includes a base body exhibiting dielectric property at least at its surface. A reflecting layer made of aluminum is formed on one surface of the base body by vacuum deposition. A light-transmitting water-insoluble inorganic oxide layer is formed on the aluminum reflecting layer. The light-transmitting inorganic oxide layer has its micropores sealed by sealing agent comprising H.sub.2 O or a carboxylate of an iron family element having a low valence.

The present invention is intended for a heat resistant reflector in which a light reflective metal is vacuum coated on a metal or inorganic material substrate and in which on the surface of the vacuum coated layer is further vacuum coated a light transmissible ceramic and preferably, a ceramic having a crystalline substance. This reflector has a light reflective metal and a ceramic vacuum coated together, and thus, can form a thin film of the same replica as a substrate. Therefore, there is very little refraction or absorption of light due to a protective film, cnanges of total reflectivity, regular reflectivity or refractivity are very few and its manufacture as well is simple because of continuous vacuum coating with one and the same coating machine. Further, as this reflector is protected with a crystalline ceramic, it has good resistance to heat, light, weather and solvent, and since a ceramic having a low degree of oxidation is electrically conductive in some cases, it can be made antifogging by conduction. The surface is highly dense and there is very little loss of transparency or coloring deterioration with time. Rubbing scratches due to wiping of pollutants on the surface are difficult to inflict and the surface has the property of excellent durability.

Heat resistant reflector

A reflector has a base body which is made of a metallic material having an ionization potential substantially higher than that of aluminum. An aluminum reflecting layer is formed on one surface of the base body by vacuum deposition. Furthermore, a light-transmitting water-insoluble inorganic oxide layer is formed on the aluminum reflecting layer. The light-transmitting inorganic oxide layer has its micropores sealed by H.sub.2 O or a carboxylate of an iron family element having a low valence. An insulating layer is formed to cover at least the other surface and the peripheral side of the base body.

The stabilizer according to the invention is made from a single pipe, and it comprises a torsion section coupled to a vehicle frame, curved sections integrally extending from the opposite ends of the torsion section and arm sections each integrally extending from each of the curved sections and coupled to a wheel suspension. Each of the curved sections has a flat section extending in the plane of action of the bending load applied to it.

Hollow stabilizer for vehicle

The present invention relates to heat-resisting layer-constructions consisting of base substrates such as plates, boards and sheets, and silicone polymers having high contents of aryl radicals painted and thermally cured to adhere on the surfaces of the base substrates, and the method of preparing the same.

The hollow stabilizer is made from a single pipe and has a torsion section coupled to a vehicle, curved sections each integrally extending from each end of the torsion section, and arm sections each integrally extending from each of the curved sections. All these sections have the same outer diameter, and the curved sections have an increased thickness compared to the rest of the stabilizer.

A stabilizer for a vehicle comprises a torsion section, hardened and tempered curved sections integrally extending from the opposite ends of the torsion section and arm sections each integrally extending from each curved section and coupled to a vehicle suspension.
