An armature core of a linear motor, the armature core including: a core body having a plurality of teeth parts around which a winding is wound, and consisting of laminated steel sheets; a block disposed inside of the core body; a fastening hole provided in the block, and through which a fastener is inserted; and a fastener insertion member having a fastener insertion hole, and arrangeable at the core body in a state in which outside of the core body and inside of the fastening hole are in communication via the fastener insertion hole, in which the core body is fixed to a fixing target via the block, by the fastener inserted in the fastener insertion hole being fastened to the block via the fastening hole, and the armature core has a seal structure which, in a state in which the fastener insertion member surrounds an opening part of the fastening hole, blocks passage of fluid from the opening part to outside of the fastener insertion member.

In an installation structure of a magnet plate for installing a magnet plate for a linear motor to a machine mounting part via a joining member, the magnet plate includes a first face, a second face, a first female threaded part at the second face, and an opening at the first face; the machine mounting part includes a second female threaded part having a winding direction opposite to the first female threaded part on a side opposing the magnet plate; the joining member includes a first male threaded part and a second male threaded part; and the magnet plate is installed to the machine mounting part with the first female threaded part being screwed with the first male threaded part, and with the second female threaded part of the machine mounting part being screwed with the second male threaded part.

A rotor capable of preventing a magnet or a cover tube from being damaged by contacting a mold of an injection machine during production. The rotor includes a rotor core, a plurality of magnets arranged on the outside of the rotor core in the radial direction, a cylindrical cover tube surrounding the plurality of magnets, and resin charged to a gap defined between an outer peripheral surface of the rotor core and an inner peripheral surface of the cover tube. An axial dimension of the rotor core is greater than an axial dimension of each magnet, and an axial dimension of the cover tube.

A holder for fixing a temperature detection element to a coil includes: a holder body shaped as a circular pillar; a recessed portion formed on a circumferential surface of the holder body, along a central axis of the holder body; a wing portion that extends farther outward than the circumferential surface of the holder body, along a direction intersecting the central axis of the holder body; and a temperature detection element that is housed in the recessed portion so that a portion of the temperature detection element protrudes from the circumferential surface of the holder body.

A linear motor includes a magnet plate on which magnets of different polarity are alternately arranged along a drive direction, and an armature having a core serving as a main body and a coil attached to the core. The magnet plate and the armature are made to relatively move along an arrangement direction of the magnets, by way of thrust produced between the magnet plate and the armature. The magnet plate has a non-thrust region that extends along an arrangement direction of the magnets, and does not contribute to the thrust. The core of the armature at least includes a plurality of main teeth to which the coil is attached. The main teeth are not provided in a region opposing the non-thrust region of the magnet plate.

Provided is a motor rotor comprising a rotor core having a plurality of punched holes, a plurality of magnets placed on an outer circumferential surface of the rotor core or placed inside the rotor core, and a resin for fixing the plurality of magnets to the rotor core, wherein in plan view, each of the punched holes has at least one first inner surface section which coincides with an arc of a perfect circle and at least one second inner surface section which does not coincide with any arc of the perfect circle and, in plan view, the second inner surface section extends from one end point of an arc subtending a central angle smaller than 180&#xb0; in the perfect circle to the other end point of the arc by passing outside the perfect circle.

A rotor capable of preventing a cover tube from being deformed locally due to injection pressure of a resin injected into a gap between a rotor core and a cover tube. The rotor includes a rotor core, a plurality of magnets, a cover tube, and a filler which is filled into the gap between the rotor core, and the cover tube. The rotor core includes a plurality of projections which project radially outward from an outer circumferential face of the rotor core, and which extends toward a second end face of the rotor core from a first end face of the rotor core in an axial direction of the rotor core, and a cutout that is dented radially inward from a radially outside end face of at least one of the projections.

Provided is a permanent magnet rotor that includes a plurality of magnets sequentially disposed on an outer circumferential surface of a core having a cylindrical shape along a circumferential direction of the core and a plurality of projection portions each disposed between the magnets adjacent to each other. Then a cover portion is formed such that a height of a space in a radial direction of the core is more reduced as from a base portion of the projection portions toward a tip end of the cover portion.

An electric motor includes a rotor including an iron core and a plurality of windings, and a stator including a plurality of permanent magnets forming a plurality of poles. The iron core has a plurality of primary teeth around each of which a winding is wound and a plurality of secondary teeth around each of which no winding is wound. The primary teeth and the secondary teeth are formed alternately with each other. The electric motor is configured such that a ratio between the number of poles formed by the permanent magnets of the stator and the number of phases formed by the windings of the rotor is 4m:3n (m and n are any natural numbers, excluding the case where m:n=2:3 is satisfied).
