A signal output circuit includes a signal correction circuit, having a clock signal input thereto, which corrects the clock signal to output the corrected signal, and a waveform shaping circuit that shapes a signal from the signal correction circuit. Row driving circuits drive a plurality of kinds of pixels in each scanning line. Column reading circuits read from the plurality of kinds of pixels in each column. A column selection circuit for GR colors selects outputs of the column reading circuits in even numbered columns, and a column selection circuit for GB colors selects outputs of the column reading circuits in odd numbered columns. In this way, in a predetermined line, only G signals are output from the column selection circuit for GR colors, and only B signals are output from the column selection circuit for GB colors. Similarly, in the next line, only R signals and only G signals are output from the selection circuits. By amplifying outputs of the column selection circuits with independent amplifications, pixel color based amplifications are possible. Amplifications can be changed in each line, and therefore the resolutions can be improved and outputs with good S/N ratio can be obtained with low speed devices.

A reference voltage generator circuit includes: a band gap circuit that outputs a predetermined voltage to an output terminal; a plurality of current mirror circuits, a gate electrode of at least one of which being coupled with one current path, and a gate electrode of at least another one of which being coupled with an other current path, and which are further coupled with the band gap circuit so as to supply an output current to the output terminal corresponding to a current flowing in either the one or the other current path; and a control unit that detects an output voltage of the output terminal of the band gap circuit and that controls a current flowing in at least the one or the other current path corresponding to the detected output voltage.

Reference voltage generator circuit

A signal reception circuit capable of detecting and receiving a signal at a high speed having small amplitude, and a data transfer control device and electronic equipment using the same. A differential pair of reception signals DP and DM is detected by an HS_SQ_L circuit for low speed having high receiving sensitivity and an HS_SQ circuit for high speed having high speed response performance. In the case of a high-speed reception signal, a logical product of a signal HS_DataIn fetched by an HS differential data receiver and a signal HS_SQ indicating the result of signal detection by the HS_SQ circuit for high speed is supplied to a DLL circuit. In the case of a low-speed reception signal, an FS differential receiver is activated after the detection of differential pair of reception signals DP and DM by the HS_SQ_L circuit for low speed. A signal FS_DataIn fetched by the FS differential receiver is supplied to an FS circuit.

There are provided a semiconductor integrated device capable of achieving stable high-speed data transfer through a differential pair of signal lines and electronic equipment including the semiconductor integrated device. In a signal-transmission period in which current is driven through one of first and second signal lines forming a differential pair, current from a constant current source is caused to flow through a current path to one of a DP pad and DM pad. Current is caused to flow into a DA pad in a period other than the signal-transmission period. A layout arrangement of the current paths from a node ND to which current from the constant current source is supplied to the DP pad and the DM pad is symmetrical. The DA pad is disposed between the DP pad and the DM pad.

There are provided a transmission circuit capable of stabilizing high-speed data transfer by driving current, a data transfer control device, and electronic equipment. An HS current driver (transmission circuit) included in a data transfer control device has a current source connected between a first power supply AVDD and a node ND, and switching devices SW to SW one ends of which are connected to the node ND. The other end of the switching device SW is connected to a DP terminal. The other end of the switching device SW is connected to a DM terminal. The other end of the switching device SW is connected to a DA terminal. The DA terminal is connected to a second power supply AVSS inside or outside the transmission circuit. The transmission circuit is configured so that impedances of each current path from the node ND through the switching devices SW to SW become substantially equal when the switching device is turned on. This prevents an increase in the voltage of the node ND in a non-signal-transmission period.

There is provided a signal detection circuit capable of detecting a signal at a high speed having small amplitude, and a data transfer control device and electronic equipment using the same. The signal detection circuit includes a peak hold circuit, a constant potential setting circuit, and a comparison circuit. The peak hold circuit holds a peak value of an input signal at a given node. The constant potential setting circuit always returns the potential at the given node changed by holding the peak value by the peak hold circuit to a constant potential at a time constant greater than the potential change caused by holding the peak value. The comparison circuit compares the potential at the node at which the peak value is held and which is slowly returned to the constant potential with a given reference level, and outputs the comparison result as a detection signal.

Signal detection circuit, data transfer control device and electronic equipment

A window voltage comparator, which determines whether a difference between two voltages is greater or smaller than a set value, is equipped with a first differential pair including a first transistor to which a first input voltage is applied and a second transistor to which a second input voltage is applied, a second differential pair including a third transistor to which a first reference voltage is applied and a fourth transistor to which a second reference voltage is applied, and a comparison circuit that compares the sum of drain currents of the first and fourth transistors with the sum of drain currents of the second and third transistors and thereby determines whether a difference between the first input voltage and the second input voltage is greater or smaller than a set value.
