A register file includes a plurality of registers for storing therein data, a plurality of input ports for receiving therethrough the data to be stored in the registers, and a plurality of output ports for delivering therethrough the data stored in the registers. Each register includes an input port selector for selecting one of the write ports through which data is received. The register file also includes a read data selector block for specifying which data stored in the registers is to be read through one of the output ports. The output port selector is implemented by a combinational circuit which saves power dissipation of the register file.

To provide an artificial cardiopulmonary circuit system having high heat resistance and excellent blood compatibility. An indwelling catheter is made of a blend of a plurality of polyurethane resins containing polyglycols having different molecular weights, or a polyurethane resin containing a plurality of polyglycols having different molecular weights. It shows a dynamic storage modulus of 1 GPa or more under a dry condition at 25&deg; C. and decrease in dynamic storage modulus when changed from a dry condition at 25&deg; C. to a wet condition at 37&deg; C., a decrease percentage of the dynamic storage modulus being less than 60% at the elapsed time of 20 seconds and 60% or more at the elapsed time of 1 minute after placed under the wet condition at 37&deg; C. Its Young's modulus is 50 kgf/mm or more under a dry condition at 25&deg; C., which reduces to 25 kgf/mm or less within 5 minutes when placed under a wet condition at 37&deg; C.

Indwelling catheter

There is a disclosure of a method and a container for storing a blood or blood component, including a sheet material having a plurality of layers and wherein the layers are adhered to each other, at least a portion of the layer which contacts blood or blood components is composed of a block copolymer having a micro-phase separating structure. In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a container which has excellent properties in relation to the storage of platelet, gas permeability and mechanical strength. Also, there is a disclosure of a method and a tube for transfusing blood or a blood component, including a tube material having a plurality of the same layers as the above.

A balloon catheter having a balloon which is produced by molding polyarylenesulfide or an alloy thereof wherein polyarylenesulfide is a main constituent, and the balloon is provided with excellent dimensional stability as well as sufficient softness and flexibility, leading to an improved trackability of the catheter to reach the target lesion.

Balloon catheters containing molded polyarylenesulfide material

A balloon for a blood vessel-dilating catheter is fabricated from a biaxially oriented film of an aromatic polyamide or an alloy thereof. The balloon has a calculated modulus of elasticity of from 70 to 190 kg/mm.sup.2. When the balloon is fabricated from an alloy of an aromatic polyamide, the alloy may contain up to 50% by weight of an aliphatic polyamide. The balloon of the invention is soft and flexible as well as dimensionally stable. Therefore, the balloon catheter has a high trackability, and may be inserted into the blood vessel without inducing any injury in the inner surface of the blood vessel. The balloon of the invention also has a good blood compatibility.

Balloon for blood vessel-dilating catheter

A hardly gas permeable and airtightly sealed package encloses a container containing infusion. The package also encloses an amount of deoxidizing agent. The package comprises a hardly deformable tray and a flexible lid bonded to the flange of said tray. The container comprises a discharge port, a container main body and a neck connecting said port and said main body. A jagged or irregular portion having a profile corresponding to that of the port and neck is integrally formed with the tray. The irregular portion controls the movement of the container relative to the package.

A physique judging device is employed for determining whether the occupant is overweight, middle sized or slim. The operation of the seat shape changer is controlled in accordance with information provided by the physique judging device.

Seat with fatigue lessening device

A seat having a fatigue lessening device functions to repeatedly expand and contract a given part of a seat occupant holding portion of the seat. A fatigue sensor is employed which issues an information signal representative of the fatigue of the occupant. A computer controls the operation of the device at intervals which are derived from the information signal. The fatigue sensor counts the number of movement of the seat occupant and uses the counted number as the factor for representing the degree of the occupant's fatigue.

An air conditioning system for an automotive vehicle includes a duct through which conditioned air is directed into a compartment for passengers. A control device is associated with the duct for operating in a first mode discharging the conditioned air in the form of concentrated currents toward the passengers, in a second mode discharging the conditioned air in the form of diffused currents toward the passengers, and in a third mode in which switching is performed between the first and second modes at variable time intervals. One of the first, second and third modes is selected according to sensed values of compartment temperature and insolation intensity.

Automobile air conditioning system

A sorter for sorting copy sheets made from an original by a copying machine includes a plurality of trays which are vertically aligned in multiple stages at predetermined intervals, an indexer for delivering the copy sheets to the trays, a conveyor for conveying the copy sheets to the indexer, and a flexible guide member which is provided at the inlet portion of each of the trays for guiding each copy sheet from the indexer into one of the trays along the bottom surface of an adjacent upper tray.
