A lean vehicle includes: a plurality of wheel units provided at least at a front position and a rear position of a vehicle body and each including a pair of wheels spaced apart in a vehicle width direction; a lean unit provided in a vicinity of one of the wheel units and including a lean mechanism configured to relatively tilt the wheel unit and the vehicle body with respect to a ground in a turning inward direction and a lean drive unit configured to drive the lean mechanism; and a passive suspension provided on the other of the wheel units and configured to generate roll stiffness when the vehicle body is tilted with respect to the ground in the vehicle width direction.

The controller is configured to control the visual target projection system to present the visual target at a first examination distance for a far-point examination of the subject eye, a second examination distance for a near-point examination of the subject eye, and a third examination distance that is different from the first examination distance and the second examination distance.

Ophthalmologic apparatus and measurement method using the same

An ophthalmologic apparatus is provided, which is capable of more securely supporting left and right cheekbone portions of a subject in accordance with the size and shape of the subject's face allowing the subject to respond orally where the positions of the subject's eyes are fixed. The ophthalmologic apparatus includes a forehead contact portion coming into contact with the forehead of the subject, and a cheek contact portion coming into contact with the cheeks of the subject. The cheek contact portion includes a first cheek-contact body that supports one of the cheeks of the subject, a second cheek-contact body that supports the other one of the cheeks of the subject, and an opening/closing mechanism portion that opens and closes in a horizontal direction the first cheek-contact body and the second cheek-contact body in a direction of coming close to each other and a direction of separating from each other.

A vehicle is provided with a vehicle body, N (N is an integer equal to or larger than 2) wheels including one or more front wheels and one or more rear wheels, a force generator, and a force controller. A vehicle includes: a vehicle body; three or more wheels; an operation input unit to be operated to input a turning direction; and a lean mechanism for leaning the vehicle body in its width direction. Within at least partial range of vehicle velocity, the vehicle is configured to travel in a mode in which the vehicle body is leaned by the lean mechanism according to an input into the operation input unit, and a steering angle of a steered wheel changes following a lean of the vehicle body. And, the vehicle includes a changing device for changing a turn resistance force acting between the vehicle body and the steered wheel.

An airborne microbial measurement apparatus and a measurement method thereof are provided. An airborne microbial measurement apparatus according to an embodiment includes a discharge apparatus including a discharge electrode and a voltage supply unit applying a high voltage to the discharge electrode. A substrate is provided to a side of the discharge apparatus to collect an airborne microbe from air by a high voltage applied to the discharge electrode. A reagent injection apparatus supplies a dyeing reagent to the microbe collected on the substrate or a DNA of the microbe. A light emission measurement apparatus senses a quantity of light generated from the DNA to which the dyeing reagent is supplied. The discharge apparatus includes a controller controlling the voltage supply unit so that the voltage is applied to collect the airborne microbe or destroy an external wall of the collected airborne microbe.

Airborne microbial measurement apparatus and measurement method thereof

An exogenous substance transfer apparatus that introduces an exogenous substance into a small amount of cells by electrical action and a method for manufacturing exogenous substance-bearing cells at low cost are provided. In the introducing an exogenous substance like a gene into a cell, a cell suspension liquid that contains the cell and the exogenous substance is supplied to a container through an opening portion in an amount that is prepared such that a liquid droplet that is formed will not come into contact with a pair of electrodes simultaneously. The liquid droplet is formed in an oil stored in the container, without the cell suspension liquid mixing with the oil. When a direct current voltage is supplied to the electrodes from a power supply, the liquid droplet moves there-between, and the exogenous substance is introduced into the cell within the liquid droplet by electrical action.

Foreign substance introduction device and method of producing cells with introduced foreign substance

A vehicle body having three or more wheels including at least a steered wheel with a trail and a pair of wheels provided in the vehicle width direction; an operation input part inputting a turning direction; an inclining part inclining the body; and a steered wheel controller controlling the steered wheel steering angle. When the vehicle speed is lower than a predetermined speed, it travels in a first mode in which the steered wheel controller controls the steered wheel steering angle according to an operation input part input, and the inclining part inclines the body according to an operation input part input. When the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than the predetermined speed, it travels in a second mode in which the steered wheel controller makes the steered wheel freely turnable, and the inclining part inclines the body according to an input from the operation input part.

Particulate matter in exhaust is treated with a novel configuration. An exhaust purifying apparatus of the present invention includes a flow generating device and a treatment device. The flow generating device includes a discharge electrode arranged inside of a tubular outer shell forming a flow passage in which exhaust containing the particulate matter flows. The discharge electrode is configured to generate the flow of the particulate matter from the discharge electrode side to the outer shell side by voltage application. The treatment device includes a space defining member and a treatment electrode. The space defining member is arranged between the discharge electrode and the outer shell to define a treatment space between the outer shell and the space defining member, and is configured to allow the inflow of the particulate matter into the space. Upon treating the particulate matter, the voltage application is performed to the treatment electrode.

Exhaust purifying apparatus

To provide a system by which evaluation of circumstances of contamination by microparticles having nucleic acid can be performed rapidly and accurately. The theme is achieved by a system for measuring microparticles that includes: (1) a microparticle adhesion step of adhering the microparticles having nucleic acid to a microparticle adhesion member; (2) a membrane breakage step of breaking membranes of the adhered microparticles by electrical discharge; (3) an electrophoresis step of electrophoresing the microparticles in a thickness direction of a gel to make the nucleic acid in the microparticles migrate from a negative electrode side toward a positive electrode side and adhere the nucleic acid on a surface of a nucleic acid detection member; and (4) a nucleic acid measurement step of fluorescently staining the surface of the nucleic acid detection member to measure a concentration of the nucleic acid.
