An authentication system includes: a first communication device including: a first transmitting part configured to communicate in a first frequency band; and a first transmitting-and-receiving part configured to communicate in a second frequency band; and a second communication device including: a first receiving part configured to communicate in the first frequency band; and a second transmitting-and-receiving part configured to communicate in the second frequency band, and, in this authentication system, the first communication device transmits a command in the first frequency band from the first transmitting part, and, upon receipt of the command by the first receiving part, the second communication device activates the second transmitting-and-receiving part, generates an authentication key for a response signal, and transmits the response signal including the generated authentication key in the second frequency band, from the second communication device.

An on-vehicle control device includes a transmission unit transmitting to a mobile device a response request signal requesting a response in response to operation of instructing a start of a driving source causing a vehicle to drive. An authentication unit authenticates the mobile device and performs start control of the driving source depending on success or failure of authentication by the authentication unit. A determination unit determines a presence or an absence of unauthorized authentication for the authentication unit. A detection unit detects an authorized occupant for the vehicle. A start prohibition unit prohibits the start of the driving source when the determination unit determines that unauthorized authentication is present for the authentication unit. A start permission unit permits the start of the driving source regardless of determination by the determination unit when the detection unit detects the occupant.

On-vehicle control device, on-vehicle control method and computer program

A vehicle-side device that is provided on the vehicle side and transmits a signal at a first frequency, and a portable device that is able to be carried by a user and transmits a signal at a second frequency are included. The portable device transmits a signal of data based on a reception intensity of a measurement signal transmitted from the vehicle-side device, and the vehicle-side device performs predetermined control on the basis of the data based on the reception intensity of the measurement signal transmitted from the portable device. The vehicle-side device transmits a start-up signal to the portable device, the portable device transmits a request signal or a signaling signal to the vehicle-side device at predetermined time intervals when receiving the start-up signal, and the vehicle-side device transmits the measurement signal to the portable device each time the vehicle-side device receives the request signal or the signaling signal.

A vehicle-mounted device includes a control unit that generates a request signal, a transmission unit that sequentially transmits a request signal generated by the control unit from a plurality of respective transmission antennas, a reception unit that receives a response signal to the request signal, and a storage unit that stores a history of information included in a response signal received by the reception unit, and, in a case where the response signal is newly received by the reception unit, the control unit determines whether or not a vehicle is caused to perform a predetermined operation on the basis of the information included in the response signal and the history of the information included in the response signal stored in the storage unit.

A moving device receives a 100% duty measurement signal transmitted from an in-vehicle device. The receive strength of the received measurement signal is divided into unit time, and the average value of the receive strength for each unit time is determined The maximum value and the minimum value of the average value are determined, and the ratio between the maximum value and the minimum value is transmitted to the in-vehicle device as signal strength fluctuation information. The in-vehicle device determines that a communication state is abnormal if it is determined that the fluctuation ratio exceeds a predetermined threshold.

An electronic key device includes a portable device capable of being carried by a user, and a vehicle-mounted device configured to perform mutual communication with the portable device to perform predetermined control. The vehicle-mounted device includes a plurality of antennas that is provided in different positions of a vehicle and is configured to transmit radio waves every predetermined time. A response signal based on the reception strength of the radio waves transmitted from the plurality of antennas is transmitted from the portable device to the vehicle-mounted device. The vehicle-mounted device determines that a moving direction of the portable device heads for any one of the antennas based on the response signal, and when it is determined that a distance between the vehicle and the portable device is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold, control is performed such that a door becomes unlocked.

A keyless entry apparatus includes: a vehicle-side device provided in a vehicle, the device including a vehicle-side transmitter that transmits a request signal and a vehicle-side receiver that receives an answer signal; and a mobile device including a mobile device receiver that receives the request signal and a mobile device transmitter that transmits the answer signal in accordance with the request signal. In a keyless entry system including an in-vehicle device, and a portable device operated by a built-in battery, a request signal is transmitted from the in-vehicle device to the portable device so that wireless communication is performed between the in-vehicle device and the portable device, the portable device can set first sensitivity that is predetermined sensitivity and second sensitivity that is higher sensitivity than the first sensitivity and at which a detection area for the request signal is wide, as detection sensitivity for detecting the request signal, sets the detection sensitivity to the second sensitivity when determining that the portable device is in the vehicle's interior or within the predetermined distance from the vehicle, and sets the detection sensitivity to the first sensitivity when determining that the portable device is not in or comes to be not in the vehicle's interior or within the predetermined distance from the vehicle.

A voltage detection device that detects a decrease in an output voltage of a power supply device, includes a first voltage-dividing circuit that divides the output voltage of the power supply device, a first constant-voltage circuit that converts the output voltage of the power supply device into a predetermined voltage, a second constant-voltage circuit that converts the output voltage of the power supply device into a predetermined voltage lower than an output voltage of the first constant-voltage circuit, a comparator that receives output voltages of the first voltage-dividing circuit and the second constant-voltage circuit, and a detection circuit that detects the decrease in the output voltage of the power supply device. The detection circuit detects a decrease in the output voltage in a higher-voltage region, and detects a decrease in the output voltage in a lower-voltage region.

A passive keyless system includes an in-vehicle control unit, an in-vehicle transmitter wirelessly sending a request signal, a portable device that is activated by a battery, has a standby function of receiving a request signal, and sends an ID signal when the request signal is received, and an in-vehicle receiver receiving the ID signal. The in-vehicle control unit allows various operations of the vehicle when an authentication of the ID signal received by the in-vehicle receiver is established. When a remaining amount value of the battery is less than a reference value, the portable device can stop the standby function, can restore the standby function according to an operation using the portable device, and can stop the standby function again after the standby function is restored.

Passive keyless system

A portable device acquires a signal of noise component data that is based on signal intensity of a signal received in an OFF time in which the portable device does not communicate with the vehicle-side device, and then transmits an information signal that is based on the noise component data, and a vehicle-side device transmits a measurement signal controlled based on the information signal, at a predetermined time period.

A keyless entry system includes an on-vehicle unit and a mobile device, and controls on-vehicle equipment using a wakeup signal and a command signal. The on-vehicle unit radio-transmits a first transmission signal including the wakeup signal and a second transmission signal relating to the detection of an interference wave to the first transmission signal to the mobile device using radio signals having different frequencies. When the first transmission signal has been normally received, the mobile device radio-transmits a third transmission signal including the command signal to the on-vehicle unit and receives a second transmission signal. When the first transmission signal could not be normally received, the mobile device performs the detection of the interference wave to the first transmission signal and radio-transmits a fourth transmission signal for requesting the retransmission of the first transmission signal to the on-vehicle unit.

A keyless entry system includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter includes an operation switch, transmission means, and transmission control means. The receiver includes receiving means and determination means. The transmission control means generates operation information including a function code corresponding to the operation switch and a count value corresponding to the number of operations of the operation switch. The transmission means transmits the operation information using a plurality of radio signals in different frequency bands. The receiving means receives the plurality of radio signals and detects the operation information from the plurality of received radio signals. The determination means specifies the content of an instruction to the device based on the function code and the count value included in the operation information.
