The present invention provides a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound represented by formula (I) and salt thereof, which is useful as an active ingredient of a fungicide for agricultural and horticultural use, having an assured effect and being safely usable.

Provided is an agricultural fungicide that contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a novel nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound represented by Formula (I), a salt thereof, or an N-oxide compound thereof. In Formula (I), R represents a group represented by CRRRor a cyano group. Rto Reach independently represents a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted Calkyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted hydroxyl group, or the like. R4 or R5 represents a halogeno group or the like. Y or Z represents a carbon atom or the like, and A or D represents a benzene ring or the like. X represents an oxygen atom or a nitrogen atom or the like. 

Nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound and agricultural fungicide

The present invention provides a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound represented by formula (I) and salt thereof (wherein, Rto Reach independently represents a hydrogen atom, unsubstituted or substituted C1-20 alkyl group and the like, Rand R, Rand R, or Rand Rmay together form an unsubstituted or substituted 5- to 8-membered ring, A-B, in which A represents a carbon atom and B represents a nitrogen atom, represents the formula: C&#x2550;N and the like, Y represents an oxygen atom and the like, X and X' each independently represent an unsubstituted or substituted C1-20 alkyl group and the like, m represents an integer of 0 to 2, and n represents an integer of 0 to 4), and a fungicide for agricultural and horticultural use that contains at least one of these compounds as an active ingredient thereof, demonstrates reliable effects and can be used safely. The present invention further provides a boronic acid derivative that is a production intermediate of the aforementioned compounds, and a production method thereof.

A driving device for performing a recording and/or reproducing operation for a recording medium, such as a flexible disc, and a fixed speed movement servo method carried out on such driving device. A head for recording and/or reproducing the information for a recording medium is run at a fixed speed using initial servo parameters as certain fixed values to calculate optimum servo parameters. Using the calculated servo parameters, constant speed servo is executed to realize the head running at a fixed speed. This achieves constant speed movement at a certain speed within a pre-set speed range regardless of individual characteristics or occasional posture of the recording/reproducing apparatus.

In a recording/reproducing apparatus, a controller includes a counter responsive to incoming track feed requesting pulses to count the number of the pulses, a head movable state detection unit for detecting a movable state of a magnetic head, and a track feed controller responsive to the count value of the track feed requesting pulse counter to effect track feed of the magnetic head. Detection of the movable state depends on the recording medium being loaded and on completion of the formulation of track position information that is derived from an optical signal that varies as a function of track position. A recording/reproducing method and apparatus having the function of tracking a head on a data track formed on a recording medium of a lower-order specifications and on a data track formed on a recording medium of the upper-order specifications. During calibration, a controller,causes a locally maximum value and a locally minimum value of the signal level of a sine wave signal to be sequentially stored as the table information in a storage unit,as a magnetic head is moved by a head driving unit,in a direction perpendicular to the plural tracks. The sine wave signal is generated by an optical encoder and represents a substantially sinusoidal signal which completes its full cycle on the track basis. During tracking, the locally maximum value and the locally minimum value associated with a targeted track are read out from the storage unit,and a target sine wave level information is generated based on the generated locally maximum value and the locally minimum value. The magnetic head is tracked to the targeted track by a lower-order tracking controlling circuit,a based on the generated target sine wave level information.

A reproducing apparatus includes access means for accessing a recording medium so that an information signal is read out from the recording medium, detecting means for counting frequency with which the access means accesses the same recording unit region of the recording medium and detecting a recording unit region of high access frequency, random number generating means for generating a random number, and moving means for moving the access means to other recording unit region on the recording medium in response to a random number generated from the random number generating means after the access means accesses the recording unit region of high access frequency detected by the detecting means.
