Provided are a rubber composition for tires that shows a balanced improvement in properties such as fuel economy, processability, heat aging resistance, abrasion resistance, wet-grip performance, performance on snow and ice, and handling stability, and a pneumatic tire formed from the rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for tires, containing: a highly purified, modified natural rubber having a pH adjusted to 2-7; carbon black and/or a white filler; and a silane coupling agent represented by the following Formula (S1): wherein Rrepresents a monovalent group selected from &#x2014;Cl, &#x2014;Br, &#x2014;OR, &#x2014;O(O&#x2550;)CR, &#x2014;ON&#x2550;CRR, &#x2014;ON&#x2550;CRR, &#x2014;NRR, and &#x2014;(OSiRR)(OSiRRR), wherein R, R, and Rare the same as or different from one another and each represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-C18 monovalent hydrocarbon group, and h represents a number whose average value is 1 to 4; Rrepresents R, a hydrogen atom, or a C1-C18 monovalent hydrocarbon group; Rrepresents R, R, a hydrogen atom, or the group: &#x2014;[O(RO)]&#x2014; wherein Rrepresents a C1-C18 alkylene group, and j represents an integer of 1 to 4; Rrepresents a C1-C18 divalent hydrocarbon group; Rrepresents a C1-C18 monovalent hydrocarbon group; and x, y, and Z are numbers satisfying the following relationships: x+y+2z=3, 0&#x2266;x&#x2266;3, 0&#x2266;y&#x2266;2, and 0&#x2266;z&#x2266;1.

Rubber composition for tires and pneumatic tire

Disclosed is a conductive elastomer material from which a molded material having good conductivity and excellent bending resistance can be obtained. This conductive elastomer material is capable of reducing variations in in-plane electrical resistively of sheet-like molded articles. Specifically disclosed is a conductive elastomer material which is characterized by being obtained by dispersing carbon nanotubes into a base component which is composed only of a thermoplastic elastomer. The conductive elastomer material is also characterized in that the carbon nanotubes have a diameter of 30-300 nm and an aspect ratio of 10-1000, and 0.01-10 parts by mass of the carbon nanotubes are blended per 100 parts by mass of the base component.

A rubber component containing at least one of diene rubber and ethylene-propylene-diene rubber is dynamically crosslinked. Thereby the rubber component is dispersed in a mixture of a thermoplastic elastomer and a thermoplastic resin. An ethylene oxide-propylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether and an anion-containing salt having fluoro groups and sulfonyl groups are added to the elastomer composition to obtain a conductive dynamically crosslinked thermoplastic elastomer composition. Rubber roller for image-forming apparatus

A rubber composition which can improve performance on icy and snowy road sufficiently and a tire using the same. The rubber composition comprises 2 to 30 parts by weight of staple fibers having an average fiber diameter of 10 to 100 &#x3bc;m and an average fiber length of 0.01 to 4 mm, and 1 to 10 parts by weight of particles having a Moh's hardness of at least 5 and an average particle size of at most 500 &#x3bc;m based on 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber. The tire of the present invention is prepared by using the rubber composition for tread. Examples of the particle are pumice, quarts, emery and the like.
