There is provided a network control apparatus that realizes an in-vehicle network with low power consumption. The network control apparatus comprises a vehicle state acquisition part that acquires the state of a vehicle; a control profile acquisition part that acquires a control profile, according to the acquired vehicle state, from one or more control profiles including settings for controlling equipment connected to an in-vehicle network; and a control part that controls equipment within the in-vehicle network on the basis of the acquired control profile.

A sugar-responsive gel that is highly resistant to temperature changes, and a sugar-responsive drug delivery device including such a gel. The sugar-responsive gel, which comprises a gel composition including a monomer having a hydroxyl group in addition to a phenylboronic-acid-based monomer, can exhibit suitable temperature resistance. A sugar-responsive drug delivery device including such a sugar-responsive gel is less susceptible to the effects of temperature changes, and therefore can prevent undesirable excessive delivery of a drug such as insulin.

In a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device according to one embodiment, after a semiconductor wafer including a non-volatile memory, a bonding pad and an insulating film comprised of an organic material is provided, a probe needle is contacted to a surface of the bonding pad located in a second region, and a data is written to the non-volatile memory. Here, the insulating film is formed by performing a first heat treatment to the organic material. Also, after a second heat treatment is performed to the semiconductor wafer, and the non-volatile memory to which the data is written is checked, a barrier layer and a first solder material are formed on the surface of the bonding pad located in a first region by using an electroplating method. Further, a bump electrode is formed in the first region by performing a third heat treatment to the first solder material.

The second electrode pad is formed on the first electrode pad through the solder bump. L/Lis 0.63 or more in a cross section passing through the first electrode pad, the solder bump and the second electrode pad. A first length of the first portion and a second length of the second portion are defined as Land L, respectively.

A side surface of the via contacts with the first insulating film, and does not contact with the second insulating film.

An improved device capable of releasing a drug in response to stimuli such as a glucose concentration is provided. Provided is a drug delivery device, including a porous body such as a hollow fiber having biocompatibility and drug permeability, a stimuli-responsive gel composition filling inside of the porous body, and a drug surrounded by the gel composition inside of the porous body.

Provided is a sensor that is highly accurate while ensuring reduced power consumption. A sensor is an electronic circuit that includes a sensor element, an analog filter, an A/D converter, and first and second electronic circuit. The analog filter filters a waveform that includes a sensor signal from the sensor element and noise based on a servo signal. The A/D converter converts the waveform filtered by the analog filter into a first digital signal. The first electronic circuit includes a digital filter and acquires a second digital signal by performing signal processing including at least a filtering process on the servo signal by using the digital filter. The second electronic circuit acquires a third digital signal by subtracting the second digital signal from the first digital signal. A setting for the signal processing for acquiring the second digital signal is changed on the basis of the third digital signal.

A communication device includes a wireless communication unit, an in-transmission information generating unit, and a neighboring signal presence information generating unit. The wireless communication unit transmits and receives wireless frames via an antenna. The in-transmission information generating unit generates in-transmission information representing whether or not a wireless frame is being transmitted from the antenna. The neighboring signal presence information generating unit generates neighboring signal presence information representing whether or not a signal of a predetermined level or higher is present on a wireless channel that is the same as a wireless channel of the wireless frame. The collision detection unit determines a transmission end point of the wireless frame transmitted from the wireless communication unit based on the in-transmission information, determines whether or not there is a signal of the predetermined level or higher on the wireless channel through which the wireless frame is transmitted within a period from the determined transmission end point until a first time elapses, based on the neighboring signal presence information, and determines whether or not the transmitted wireless frame collided with another wireless frame, based on the determination made based on the neighboring signal presence information.

A wireless communication terminal has: a wireless module part which transmits a radio frame signal; a transmission loss information detection part which detects transmission loss information representing whether or not the radio frame signal transmitted by the wireless module part has reached a transmission destination; a collision information detection part which detects collision information representing an aspect of collision between the radio frame signal transmitted by the wireless module part and another radio frame signal; and a transmission control part which controls a transmission process executed by the wireless module part, on a basis of the transmission loss information and the collision information.

A transmission part transmits a packet by radio. A power detection part performs, at a given cycle, sampling of power of a spatial radio signal in a packet transmission period during which the transmission part transmits the packet. A collision detection part calculates, as an index value, at least one of the average value and the degree of variation of power of the spatial radio signal in the packet transmission period on the basis of sampled data obtained in the sampling by the power detection part. The collision detection part also determines a reference value on the basis of transmission power of the packet. The collision detection part detects whether or not collision of the packet is present by comparing the index value with the reference value.

Disclosed is a semiconductor device in which a resistance component resulting from wiring is reduced. A plurality of transistor units are arranged side by side in a first direction, each of which has a plurality of transistors. The gate electrodes of the transistors extend in the first direction. First source wiring extends between first transistor unit and second transistor unit, and first drain wiring extends between the second transistor unit and third transistor unit. Second drain wiring extends on the side of the first transistor unit opposite to the side where the first source wiring extends, and second source wiring extends on the side of the third transistor unit opposite to the side where the second drain wiring extends.

A microphone amplifier unit, to which a microphone of a first form including an LED or a microphone of a second form without including an LED is connected, includes a microphone detecting unit that detects a connection state of the microphone of the first form or the second form based on potential information supplied to a specific terminal pin of a connector. In the microphone amplifier unit, appropriate circuit setting corresponding to functions of the respective microphones is made based on information obtained by the microphone detecting unit. With the configuration, a microphone connecting device that can commonly use the microphone of the first form and the microphone of the second form with a small number of pins is provided.
