A wheel loader includes a bucket boom including a pair of left and right side members; a front frame to which the base ends of the pair of side members are coupled; and a boom cylinder of which a base end is coupled to the front frame and a distal end is coupled to the side members. A base-end interval between the pair of side members is smaller than a distal-end interval between the side members. A face section that inclines towards a middle as extending in an upwards direction is provided on the left and right extremities of the front frame. A mounting boss to which the base end of the boom cylinder is attached is provided on a lower side of the face section while a mounting boss to which the base ends of the side members are attached is provided on an upper side of the face section.

A method of controlling a clutch pressure of a transmission which can be applied to a clutch of a large capacity piston volume, which has a short time lag for engaging the clutch, a uniform clutch engaging time and is inexpensive, and a control apparatus therefor. Accordingly, in a clutch pressure control apparatus of a transmission including a pressure control valve which supplies a discharge oil in a hydraulic pump to a clutch chamber at a time of engaging a clutch, whereby the clutch chamber is full of the discharge oil, gradually increases a hydraulic pressure in the clutch chamber after being filled so as to engage the clutch, and drains the oil in the clutch chamber to a tank at a time of disengaging the clutch, the apparatus is provided with a supply bypass valve which directly supplies the discharge oil of the hydraulic pump to the clutch chamber with bypassing the pressure control valve at a time of engaging the clutch, and a discharge bypass valve which directly drains the oil in the clutch chamber to the tank by bypassing the pressure control valve at a time of disengaging the clutch.

Method of controlling clutch pressure of transmission and control apparatus therefor

A modulating clutch unit and a torque converter unit are individually made attachable and detachable to provide a power transmission system for a vehicle with enhanced maintainability. For this purpose, in the power transmission system for a vehicle for transmitting power from an engine (1) to a traveling system by way of an input transfer unit (10) for distributing the power to a working machine power output section and a traveling power output section, via a modulating clutch unit (20), a torque converter unit (40), and a transmission (60), the modulating clutch unit (20) and the torque converter unit (40) are respectively placed at the engine (1) side and the transmission (60) side with the input transfer unit (10) therebetween, and are placed coaxially to be attachable and detachable.
