Disclosed are a method for processing a black-and-white light-sensitive silver halide photographic material containing at least one kind of a tetrazolium compound or a hydrazine compound with a developing solution containing a polyhydroxybenzene type developing agent, wherein the developing solution is a developing solution prepared by using a solid processing agent, a solid processing agent for a black-and-white light-sensitive silver halide photographic material containing a tetrazolium compound or a hydrazine compound comprising a polyhydroxybenzene type developing agent and a solid processing agent for a black-and-white light-sensitive silver halide photographic material containing a tetrazolium compound or a hydrazine compound comprising a thiosulfate fixing agent and water in an amount of 300% or less based on an amount of the thiosulfate fixing agent.

Processing method of black-and-white light-sensitive silver halide

A composition for developing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The composition has a form of a tablet or granule and comprises an organic development inhibitor having a solubility of not higher than 1 % by weight in an aqueous medium having a pH value of 6 to 12, and a water-soluble or alkali-soluble polymer having a melting point of 30.degree. C. to 100.degree. C. in an amount of not less than 5% by weight of total weight of the composition. The granules or tableted composition of the invention is preferably produced in a process comprising steps of (1) melting the polymer, (2) dissolving the organic development inhibitor in the melted polymer, (3) mixing the melted polymer containing the component with the remaining components of the composition, and (4) granulating or tableting the mixed composition. The composition is friendly for environment and is excellent in stability, conservability.

Disclosed is a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material that comprises a support having thereon at least one silver halide light-sensitive emulsion layer, wherein emulsion layer is spectrally sensitized; the back coating layer side of said light-sensitive material has a specific surface resistance of 1  10.sup.9 to 1  10.sup.12 .OMEGA.at 25.degree. C. and 25% RH; and said light-sensitive photographic material curls in the direction of said back coating layer side. The silver halide photographic light-sensitive material according to this invention does not undergo jamming even in electrostatic charge adsorption type cameras, and is improved in anti-static property.

An improved silver halide photographic material that has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support and that contains a hydrazine derivative in said emulsion layer or an adjacent layer. The improvement is that said emulsion layer or at least one of the other hydrophilic colloidal layers contains at least one of the compounds represented by the following general formulas (I) and (II): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.1 ' are each a group selected from among a substituted or unsubstituted alkane residue, an alkene residue, a benzene residue, a cyclohexane residue and a nitrogenous heterocyclic residue; R.sub.2 is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R.sub.3, R.sub.3 ', R.sub.4 and R.sub.4 ' are each a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted methyl group, provided that R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 or R.sub.3 ' are not a methyl group at the same time; Y is a divalent organic residue; M and M' are each a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, an ammonium salt or an organic amine salt; P is a positive integer; and m is 0 to 1.

Silver halide photographic material

A method of preparing a light sensitive silver halide phtographic material is disclosed. The photographic material comprises a polyester support having a hydrophobic polymer layer containing a vinylidene chloride copolymer and at least one hydrophilic polymer layer. The method comprises steps of coating a hydrophilic polymer layer onto the polyester support, drying the layer until a water content of the layer reaches 60 wt %, and contacting the layer with air having a relative humidity of 5 to 25% for a period 5 seconds to 10 minutes. The photographic material according to the method has such a physical characteristics as dimensional stability for long time storage or anti-cracking of the photographic layer at the preparation period. It is suitable for printing use.

Methods for producing and preserving a silver halide photographic

A process for producing a silver halide photographic paper that has on a support at least one photographic constituent layer incorporating a silver halide developing agent and at least one photographic constituent layer containing both a polymer latex and an emulsified dispersion of an oil-soluble fluorescent brightener dissolved in a high-boiling point organic solvent wherein said emulsified dispersion is preliminarily mixed with said polymer latex, the resulting mixture then being incorporated in a selected photographic constituent layer.

Process for producing silver halide photographic paper

A silver halide photographic material having, in a hydrophilic colloid layer, silver halide grains of a dual structure with core and shell which have been ripened without fogging is disclosed. The outermost shell portion of each of the grains has a silver halide composition such that it contains a rhodium atom and at least 80 mol % of silver chloride. The contents of silver chloride and rhodium in the outermost shell portion of each grain are greater than those for the core.
