A frame has upper and lower surfaces that extend in a perpendicular direction to a motor output shaft, donut-shaped conductive plates are mounted respectively on the upper and lower surfaces, and the conductive plates both include connection-forming terminal portions provided on inner and outer peripheral sides thereof. An inverter circuit is constituted by a power module formed from a plurality of switching elements, a power supply terminal is provided on one side of a package forming the power module, while an output terminal connected to a winding terminal for supplying power to a motor and a control terminal connected to a control signal are provided on an opposing side. The terminal portions on the inner peripheral sides of the conductive plates are connected to the power supply terminal of the power module, and the control board is connected to the control terminal of the power module.

The invention relates to a waterproof electronic control device such that a connector unit is inserted into at least one wall face of a case, a control substrate is incorporated in a housing chamber formed of the case and connector unit, an aperture portion and an upper face of the connector unit are covered with a cover, and a waterproofing member is disposed on a contact surface of each of the case, connector unit, and cover. A structure is such that a first inclined portion is provided in a side wall of one portion of the case, a regulating wall is provided in a direction opposing an inclined face of the first inclined portion, a second inclined portion of the connector unit is provided in a position opposing the first inclined portion and comes into contact with an inner face of the regulating wall when inserted into the case, and the first inclined portion and the second inclined portion come into contact at a final insertion stage of the second inclined portion.

Waterproof electronic control device

A program analysis support device that can freely combine program analysis conditions and can realize desired program analysis. An analysis condition setting part inputs a program analysis condition in a form of a conditional equation (analysis command, an analysis subject, and analysis condition) having an inherent equation number. A POU list extraction processing executing part executes an analysis command that reads a program to generate a collection of POUs serving as analysis subjects constituting the program, and a variable use list extraction processing executing part executes an analysis command that extracts a cross-reference of a variable to extract a cross-reference of a variable to the POU collection serving as the analysis subject. Both the parts further extract a cross-reference of a variable to another POU collection. An AND processing part further performs processing of a logical product of the cross-references of both the variables and outputs a result thereof to an analysis result display part.

An electron emission element includes a substrate, a base electrode formed on the substrate, an emitter connecting portion formed on a part of the base electrode, and an emitter formed on the emitter connecting portion and having a wedge. The wedge of the emitter has a mesa shape in section. The wedge of the emitter has an upper surface and a lower surface which is wider than the upper surface. The wedge of the emitter has an edge provided with a lower corner of an acute angle in section. The electron emission element further includes an insulating layer formed on the substrate and spaced from the wedge of the emitter by a given gap, and a control electrode formed on the insulating layer for enabling electrons to be emitted from the edge of the emitter. The wedge of the emitter may have an inverted-mesa shape.

Electron emission element

An electron emission element includes an insulating substrate. A base electrode is formed on the insulating substrate. A plurality of emitters are formed on the base electrode and are arranged radially with respect to a given point. The emitters have wedge shapes with their respective tips facing inward. An insulating layer is formed on the substrate and the base electrode, and is spaced from the wedges of the emitters by given gaps. A control electrode is formed on the insulating layer for enabling electrons to be emitted from the tips of the wedge-shaped emitters.

An electron emission device is employed as an electron emission source in various applications using an electron beam. The electron emission device has a cathode layer having an edge, and a control electrode spaced and electrically insulated from the cathode layer, for drawing electrons from said edge of the cathode layer. When a voltage is applied between the cathode layer and the control electrode, a developed electric field is concentrated on the edge of the cathode layer to cause the edge to emit electrons. The electron emission device can easily be manufactured with a high yield since it does not have a needle tip for emitting electrons. A method of manufacturing the electron emission device is also disclosed.

Electron field emission device

An MIM type of electron emission element having a thin insulating film formed below an electron emission region of a metal layer, with that electron emission region of the metal layer consisting of an array of thick and thin portions, distributed throughout the electron emission region. Improved efficiency and uniformity of of emission are obtained, due to the low resistance of the thick portions, which apply a supply voltage to the thin portions of the metal layer, while the thin portions can be made sufficiently thin to maximize the electron emission.

Electron-emitting device and process for making the same

A flat configuration image display apparatus electron beam generator equipped with cold cathodes for generating a plurality of electron beams in response to image signals fed from an image signal supply circuit, and electron beam control electrodes for selectively energizing the cold cathodes of the electron beam generator in accordance with a scanning line selection signal. The electron beam generator is further equipped with at least an array of n base electrodes extending in vertical directions of a screen of the image display apparatus where n is an integer equal to or greater than 3, and a predetermined number of the cold cathodes are disposed on each of the base electrodes. The image signals are independently applied through terminal leaders to the base electrodes, the terminal leaders being led up to outsides of a vacuum housing of the image display apparatus. The electron control electrodes are divided into a plurality of groups each of which are responsive to the scanning line selection signal through a common bus.

Flat configuration image display apparatus and manufacturing method

Structures and methods of manufacture for field emission cathodes having cathode tips of minute size, whereby a block formed of pairs of substrates each having a patterned thin layer of cathode material sandwiched therebetween is sliced into a plurality of sections, to obtain array substrates each having an array of exposed regions of cathode material. A metal layer for constituting electron extraction electrodes and corresponding extraction apertures is formed over these exposed regions and appropriately shaped, after first forming mask layer portions upon the exposed cathode material regions.
