A plurality of in-vehicle information collecting devices mounted on a plurality of vehicles; a center server to manage each in-vehicle information collecting device as a communication target; and a communication unit to relay communication between each in-vehicle information collecting device and the center server are included. Each in-vehicle information collecting device has an in-vehicle controller to transmit/receive information including vehicle information to/from the center server, and the center server includes a server controller to transmit/receive information to/from each in-vehicle controller. The server controller, when receiving the vehicle information from each in-vehicle controller, analyzes the received vehicle information, generates speed information defining a transmission speed of the vehicle information based on an analysis result, and transmits the generated speed information to each in-vehicle controller. Each in-vehicle controller controls a communication amount of the vehicle information to the server controller, based on the speed information received from the server controller.

In a terminal system for managing terminals coupled to a network, a terminal management server includes: a terminal information registration module for registering, in advance, information unique to each user of the terminal; an authentication module for executing authentication by comparing an ID and authentication information which are contained in an authentication request received from the terminal to user information set in advance; an authenticity determination module for determining, based on a predetermined investigation result received from the terminal, whether or not the terminal suffers falsification; and a unique information transmission module for transmitting, when the authentication is successful, and when the authenticity determination module has determined that the terminal does not suffer the falsification, the information unique to the each user to the terminal. The terminal outputs the information unique to the each user received from the terminal management server to a display unit.

In remotely coupling one terminal apparatus to a server apparatus, if an authentication processing of a user of one terminal apparatus has been already completed, the user can switch one terminal apparatus to another without an additional authentication processing. Authenticated information indicating that the authentication of the user has already been successfully completed is transferred to another terminal apparatus by coordinating the authenticated information between more than one terminal apparatuses. Another terminal apparatus receives a service from the server apparatus using the authenticated information. Upon coordinating the authenticated information among more than one terminal apparatuses, another terminal apparatus to receive the authenticated information may be authenticated. A storage medium which conducts the authentication may be coupled to a terminal apparatus to be authenticated.

A transaction-oriented electronic accommodation system includes an IC card storing electronic monetary information and an identification number, an IC card read/write unit for reading and/or writing information in/from the IC card, a key control unit for controlling locking and unlocking of a door of the article receiving/housing unit, an identification number storing unit for storing identification number of the IC card, an amount-of-money information storing unit for storing amount-of-money information, a collating unit for collating the identification number stored in the identification number storing unit with the identification number read out from the IC card, and a line control unit for transferring the electronic monetary information via transmission line. For utilizing the article receiving/housing unit, the IC card is inserted, whereby the article receiving/housing unit is locked. For taking out article from the article receiving/housing unit, the IC card is inserted, whereby the article receiving/housing unit is unlocked with the accounting being settled. Cashless transaction can be realized.

Transaction-oriented electronic accommodation system

An electronic wallet system easy to use and having high security is provided. The electronic wallet system includes an IC card for storing electronic money information, an IC card reader/writer for reading data from, and writing data into, the IC card, an IC card loader unit for loading the IC card into, and unloading the IC card from, the IC card loader unit, an IC card load controller unit for controlling a load/unload operation of the IC card, and a lock signal generator unit for generating an IC card lock signal in response to an activation of an unload operation by the IC card load controller unit. An electronic wallet system with an ID number specific to the system, applied to a POS system, includes a system ID verification unit and an input unit for inputting data to the system, wherein an IC card can be unloaded in response to an activation of an unload operation by a load controller unit and an input of the system ID from the input unit.
