A side body structure of a vehicle includes a hinge pillar reinforced by a reinforcement having a side surface and a front surface extending inward in the vehicle width direction from the front end of the side surface. The reinforcement is provided with upper and lower gussets for reinforcing a pair of upper and lower hinge mounting portions, respectively, for a side door. The reinforcement has a first bead portion on the side surface between the upper and lower gussets, and has a second bead portion at an edge portion that is a boundary portion between the side surface and the front surface. The second bead portion extends in an up-down direction and is recessed inward at the edge portion continuously from the side surface to the front surface.

Side body structure of vehicle

A body structure of a vehicle includes: a first panel and a second panel forming a closed cross-sectional portion; a partition panel; a first reinforcement body disposed between the first panel and the partition panel, and includes a first panel joint portion joined to the first panel, and a first flange portion joined to the partition panel; and a second reinforcement body which is disposed between the second panel and the partition panel, and includes a second panel joint portion joined to the second panel, and a second flange portion joined to the partition panel. A joint portion includes a rigid coupling portion in which the first panel and the first panel joint portion are coupled while being in contact with each other, and a flexible coupling portion in which the partition panel and the first flange portion are coupled to each other while interposing a damping member therebetween.

Body structure of vehicle

A body structure of a vehicle includes a first panel and a second panel that form a closed cross-sectional portion, a partitioning panel that partitions the closed cross-sectional portion, and a reinforcement member disposed between the first panel and the partitioning panel, and includes a panel joining portion joined to the first panel, and a flange portion joined to the partitioning panel. A joining portion formed by the reinforcement member includes a rigid coupling portion in which the first panel and the panel joining portion are coupled to each other while being in contact with each other, and a flexible coupling portion in which the partitioning panel and the flange portion are coupled, with a damping member being provided therebetween. The partitioning panel includes an extended portion that extends from a vicinity of the flexible coupling portion toward the second panel and is joined to the second panel.

A vehicle body side part structure for a vehicle includes a side sill connected to the lower part of a pillar, and a partition member provided within the side sill. The partition member includes a partition wall for dividing a closed sectional space of the side sill in the vehicle front-rear direction, and joint flange joined to the inner surface of a side sill inner member. The partition wall includes a ridge extending from a side of the side sill outer reinforcement to a side of the side sill inner member and connected to the joint flange. A widening portion is formed at an end of on the ridge close to the joint flange. This configuration makes it possible to improve the load transmission performance at the time of a side collision of the vehicle.

Structure for side part of body of vehicle

In a vehicle-body structure of a vehicle, where suspension forming members are attached to a vehicle body, there are provided a first face portion, through which the suspension forming member extends, a second face portion provided to face to the first face portion, and a support member provided between the first face portion and the second face portion and supporting the suspension forming members, and the support member is joined to said second face portion via a reinforcing member which is formed integrally with the support member or formed separately from the support member. Accordingly, vibrations of the support member can be properly restrained.

Vehicle-body structure of vehicle and manufacturing method of the same

In a vehicle-body structure of a vehicle which comprises at least one vehicle-body forming member forming a closed-section portion continuously in a specified direction, a partition member extending in the specified direction and partitioning an inside of the closed-section portion, and a bulkhead provided in the closed-section portion and joined to the vehicle-body forming member, the bulkhead is joined to an inner face of the vehicle-body forming member at specified positions which are located on both sides of the partition member, and the bulkhead is joined to a specified portion of the partition member which is located in the vicinity of opening portions formed at the partition member or to an end portion of the partition member in the specified direction.

In a vehicle-body structure of a vehicle which comprises vehicle-body forming members forming a closed-section portion and having a dent portion which dents toward an inside of the closed-section portion, and a reinforcing member provided in the closed-section portion and joined to the vehicle-body forming members, a joint portion of the vehicle-body forming members and the reinforcing member includes a rigid joint portion where the vehicle-body forming members and the reinforcing member are joined with a direct contact thereof and a flexible joint portion where the vehicle-body forming members and the reinforcing member are joined via a damping member provided therebetween, and this joint portion is provided at or in the vicinity of the dent portion.

In a frame having a closed-section portion which is formed by joining a first member having a U-shaped section and a second member having a flat-plate shape, a bulkhead is provided in the closed-section portion as a reinforcing member, flanges of the bulkhead and the first and second members are joined with a rigid joint portion where they are joined by a spot welding and a flexible joint portion where they are joined via a damping member. Thereby, transmission of vibrations can be properly restrained, improving the rigidity of the portion having the closed-section portion.
