Disclosed is an electrophotographic receptor provided with an overcoat layer comprising a cured fluororesin and a nitrogen-containing compound selected from the group consisting of an aromatic amine antioxidant and a charge transport substance on the surface of a photosensitive layer containing a charge generating substance.

A photoconductive phthalocyanine composition is disclosed, comprising (A) a photoconductive phthalocyanine composition comprising 100 parts by weight of an unsubstituted phthalocyanine derivative and from 0.001 to 5 parts by weight of a nitro- or halogen-substituted phthalocyanine derivative and (B) from 0.01 to 10 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of the photoconductive phthalocyanine composition (A), of a phthalocyanine derivative having at least 4 electron attracting groups. A photosensitive layer formed of the photoconductive phthalocyanine composition produces digital signals whether input light is digital or not. It is useful as not only a photoreceptor for digital recording system of electrophotography but a photoreceptor for analogue light input in conventional PPC to provide a high quality image with sharp edges.

Photoconductive phthalocyanine composition

A photoconductive material comprising a mixed crystal of at least two phthalocyanine compounds whose central substances are different from each other, the phthalocyanine compounds being represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A represents a substance capable of bonding to the phthalocyanine ligand through a covalent bond or a coordinate bond. The photoconductive material exhibits stability to heat and light and sufficient sensitivity in the visible to near infrared region.

A process for producing a polydiacetylene molecular orientated film is disclosed, which comprises a first step of forming a polydiacetylene film on a base using a diacetylene monomer or a polydiacetylene, a second step of unidirectionally rubbing the polydiacetylene film with a cloth at least once, a third step of building up a diacetylene monomer on the film, and a fourth step of polymerizing the diacetylene monomer film formed in the third step in a solid phase, said second to fourth steps being carried out once or more in this order. The resulting orientated film exhibits high orientation and crystallinity without limitations in film thickness, film area, and polymer materials.

Process for producing molecular orientated film

A vibration-damping resin composition of the invention comprises 10 to 95% by weight of an amorphous thermoplastic resin polymer (a) and 90 to 5% by weight of a crystalline thermoplastic polymer (b) incompatible with the polymer (a). The polymer (a) has a glass transition temperature lower than that of the polymer (b) and a maximum tan.delta. of 0.5 or more within a predetermined temperature and frequency range. Vibration-damping composite metal plate

An electrode material made of a carbonaceous material that is obtained by the pyrolysis of an organic compound capable of forming the graphite structure is disclosed. This carbonaceous material is such that the spacing of (002) planes, d002, is at least 3.37 .ANG. and thecrystallite size in the direction of c axis, Lc, is not more than 220 .ANG., as determined by X-ray wide-angle diffractiometry, and the line width .DELTA.Hpp between peaks in the first differential of the absorption spectrum of electron spin resonance is at least 10 gauss. The electrode material made of such carbonaceous material is capable of providing a stable secondary battery that produces high electromotive force and which has high energy density.

There is disclosed a secondary battery using a non-aqueous solvent which comprises using a carbonaceous material obtained by carbonating an organic compound and having a pseudographite structure of a hydrogen/carbon ratio being 0.15 or less, a d.sub.002 being 3.37 .ANG. or more and a Lc being 150 .ANG. or less as a negative electrode. The battery has a large electric density, less in self-discharging and excellent in preservability.
