A serial communication method, which is performed by a device that detects a coordinate of a stylus and reports touch data including the detected coordinate to a host, includes: receiving a write command that includes data indicating a request for a descriptor; transmitting an interrupt in response to receiving of the write command; receiving a touch data transmission request, after the transmitting of the interrupt; transmitting the descriptor, in response to receiving the touch data transmission request, the descriptor including one or more report IDs and one or more report descriptors that each correspond to one of the one or more report IDs; producing the touch data and a first report including a first report ID of the one or more report IDs, in accordance with a first report descriptor corresponding to the first report ID; transmitting data indicating a size of the first report; and transmitting the first report.

Serial communication method and sensor controller

A serial communication method between a device and a host, in which the device reports touch data including a coordinate of a detected active stylus to a host. The host issues a write command that includes data indicating a request of a descriptor, to the device. After the device performs a predetermined process for the write command, the device transmits an interrupt to the host. The host requests the device to transmit the touch data, triggered by the host detecting the interrupt. The device transmits the descriptor in response to a request for transmission of the touch data. The method can enable a sensor controller to notify the host of the descriptor even in a case where communication is performed between the sensor controller and a host processor in accordance with a standard that does not provide a command usable for the device to notify the host of the descriptor.

The present invention provides a method for producing a polydioxolane, which includes polymerizing a 1,3-dioxolane compound represented by the formula (1) in the presence of a cationic catalyst and a sterically hindered phenol in an amount of 10 to 1,500 ppm, based on the 1,3-dioxolane compound. In the formula (1), R1 to R6 are the same or difference and each independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, an alkyloxy group, or an aryloxy group.

The present invention has an object of providing a novel multilayer composite fiber using polyacetal mainly derived from methanol, which is a petroleum-independent raw material, and having a low environmental load, and also providing a nonwoven fabric obtained by thermally bonding such fibers. A focal plane shutter for a camera has a synchronous contact member that produces less chattering than conventional synchronous contact members. One end of an opening electromagnet and one end of a closing electromagnet are separately connected to the higher-potential side of a power supply for a CPU in the camera, and the other ends of the electromagnets are grounded. An output circuit has an inverter circuit made up of a transistor and two resistors. A driver voltage for energizing the closing electromagnet is applied to the base of the transistor via a first resistor. The collector of the transistor is connected to the higher-potential side of the power supply via a second resistor. The emitter of the transistor is connected to the lower-potential side of the power supply. First and second voltage signals are produced from an output terminal on the side of the collector. A motor-driven injection molding machine includes an injection device driven by a servo motor, and a load cell for detecting a pressure of a molten resin stored in front of a screw. A position detector detects a position of a screw, and a controller controls the servo motor in accordance with detected values obtained by the load cell and the position detector. The controller controls, in response to a command to adjust a zero point for the load cell, the servo motor to advance and retract the screw in an advancing movement and a retracting movement a plurality of times in a back and forth movement, and calculates an average value of a corresponding plurality of detected values obtained by the load cell during the back and forth movement of the screw to adjust the zero point for the load cell.
