A radio terminal that performs radio communication with a base station, including: a communicator configured to perform radio measurement and monitoring of a paging signal; and a controller configured to control the communicator to receive information related to first duration by Non-Access Stratum (NAS) message from the base station, and not to perform the radio measurement and the monitoring during the first duration but to perform the radio measurement and the monitoring during second duration different from the first duration, wherein the controller is further configured to control the radio measurement and the monitoring by ending the first duration for transmitting uplink data of the radio terminal.

A wireless communications system includes a base station; and a wireless station. The base station reserves, in advance, a radio parameter that includes at least any one among a frequency resource and communication method used in transmission of uplink data by a first control signal transmitted to the wireless station and upon receiving a second control signal from the wireless station, provides authorization for the transmission of uplink data, by transmitting a third control signal to the wireless station. The wireless station, upon transmitting the second control signal to the base station, uses the radio parameter configured by the first control signal received from the base station to perform transmission of the uplink data to the base station.

A communication device that is connected to a network includes: a receiver, a storage and a processor. The receiver receives meta data that includes attribution information of data and access information of the data. The storage stores the meta data received by the receiver; and a processor. The processor extracts a keyword from the attribution information that is included in the meta data and store, in the storage, index information in which the keyword and information for identifying the meta data are associated with each other. The processor transmits, to a participating node in the network, a stop request that is a request to step a transmission of meta data when an amount of the index information stored in the storage is larger than or equal to a specified threshold.

In some examples, a method may include receiving an Interest packet requesting content, and returning the content from a local data store if the content is in the local data store. The method may also include determining whether a previous request has been made for the requested content if the content is not in the local data store, and creating a record of the Interest packet and discarding the Interest packet if a previous request has been made. The method may further include determining whether a local IP routing table includes an entry that matches a destination IP address specified by the Interest packet if a previous request has not been made, and forwarding the Interest packet if the destination IP address is in the local IP routing table.

A method is provided for managing a wireless network traffic by comprising designating a first resource block of a first base station for access by a random access channel (RACH). The method additionally comprises designating a first plurality of random access subframes associated with the first resource block for access by a user-over-control plane message, and receiving a random access signal at the first base station over a subframe from an endpoint. The random access signal is received on the RACH using a wireless network and is attempting to access one of the first plurality of designated random access subframes. Further, the method comprises determining if the random access signal is a user-over-control plane message, and processing the random access signal on the one of the first plurality of designated random access subframes.

The fourth packet may indicate reserved radio resources for future packet transmissions from the first wireless device to the third wireless device.
