According to an aspect of the invention, there is provided a communication device including: a communication unit configured to communicate with an opponent by an electric communication network; a vibration unit configured to generate a vibration at a predetermined vibration pattern; a storage unit configured to store identification information about the opponent; a display unit configured to listing the identification information; an operation unit configured to accept an operation for moving a cursor which points at one of identification information listed by the display unit; and a control unit configured to activate the vibration unit in accordance with the one of identification information pointed at with the cursor.

In a mobile phone applicable to an information processing apparatus, an illumination sensor detects a state of the mobile phone and generates a detection signal, a main controller determines whether or not the generated detection signal is larger than a predetermined reference value and allocates predetermined functions of operation to operation keys based on a result of determination with reference to a table in which the input units and the functions thereof are caused to previously correspond to each other and stored therein. In a first standby state, the reception quality of a signal from a system which has established synchronization is detected. If the detected reception quality deteriorates to be less than a threshold value, the destination of synchronization establishment is changed from a first system to a second system. In a second standby state after this system change, the reception quality of a system having a higher priority order of selection than the second system which has established synchronization is detected. If a third system whose detected reception quality exceeds the threshold value is found, the destination of synchronization establishment is changed to this third system again. After that, the first standby state is returned.

A communication terminal according to the present invention is configured so that a user can selectively set any one of a first display mode for displaying a CLI message with high priority, a second display mode for displaying a phone book storage information with high priority, and a third display mode for displaying both of the CLI message and phone book storage information. Dual-mode radio communication device having function for selectively using analog or digital mode

The present invention provides a cheap handsfree unit which can prevent the howling phenomenon and reduce the input sound from the loud-speaker into the microphone in both the analog and digital modes. A reception side comprises a signal level adjusting circuit constituted by a switch circuit and attenuators, and a transmission side comprises a signal level adjusting circuit constituted by a switch circuit and attenuators, to introduce the attenuation of 15 dB or 30 dB in response to the analog or digital mode. A voice switch is constituted so that the analog reception signal and the analog transmission signal are rectified respectively by rectifiers, the levels of both signals are compared by a comparator, and either switch or switch having a higher input signal level becomes conductive as a result of the comparison. The attenuation is introduced on the basis of the communication mode, only to either the analog reception signal or analog transmission signal having a smaller signal intensity.

As a result, since the amplification factor of the amplifier in the booster and the portable radiotelephone are independently controlled, the booster can be connected to even a portable radiotelephone which is designed without considering that it will be connected to the booster.
