A multiply connected air core coil winding apparatus is provided in which a winding core is protruded and retracted through a first side frame in order to position the winding core between the first side frame and a second side frame, the winding core being rotated when so positioned in order to form a side face of an air core coil. The second side frame is capable of being drawn towards and away from the first side frame. A pocket is provided at one of the side frames for housing the air core coil when the winding material has been completely wound. As a result, multiple air core coils can be wound without cutting the winding material of a first air core coil. In a second embodiment of the present invention, a multiply connected air core coil winding apparatus is provided, comprising a winding core which can be protruded and retracted through a hole of a side frame face so as to be positioned between a pair of side frames, the winding core being rotated for forming a side face of an air core coil, similar to the first embodiment. One side frame is movable so as to be drawn towards and away from the other side frame, and a plurality of side frame faces are provided on one of the side frames which can be rotated in a direction perpendicular to a winding rotation shaft. One side frame is positioned so as to be opposed to the other side frame, and the winding core is protruded and retracted on the rotation shaft of the winding wire.

Multiply connected air core coil winding apparatus

This invention relates to a magnetic recording and reproducing device in which automatic settings of optimum recording bias current, optimum recording level and optimum recording equalization characteristic are successively accomplished in this order. The settings of the optimum recording conditions are achieved with high accuracy within short period of time by a computer control using a microprocessor.

Magnetic recording and reproducing device

A front-loaded cassette tape deck which moves the cassette a greater relative distance than the distance travelled by the table. A table is normally in the fully projected position because the force provided by a pair of springs is greater than the frictional forces and the damping forces provided by damping pulleys. A cassette is placed in a slider and is held therein by a leaf spring. As the table is moved towards the closed position, the slider is moved by cords and pulleys at a faster rate than the table. Thus, the slider is moved relative to the table. The greater travel of the slider causes it to be moved within a holder by the sliding engagement of a plurality of guide members. During this time, the holder is at an upper position. When the table reaches the closed position, the slider is fully disposed within the holder. The holder with the slider then automatically rotates to a lower position, which puts the cassette into operational engagement with a cassette driving section. The holder remains in the lower position until an eject lever is depressed, which causes the holder with the slider to be moved back to the upper position. The table then automatically returns to the fully projected position because the force provided by a pair of springs is greater than the frictional forces and the damping forces provided by the damping pulleys. As the table moves towards the fully projected position, the slider is moved out of sliding engagement with the holder and into sliding engagement with the table due to the relative movement of the slider with respect to the table provided by the cords and pulleys.
