Provided is a riveting device that deforms a rivet inserted into a through-hole formed in a plurality of plate-shaped members disposed in a superimposed state and secures the plurality of plate-shaped members, the riveting device including: an upper anvil that is disposed in a state in which the upper anvil faces an end surface of a head of the rivet; a lower anvil that is disposed in a state in which the lower anvil faces an end surface of a shaft portionof the rivet; and a pressurizing mechanism that generates a pressurizing force of causing a distance between the upper anvil and the lower anvil along an axial line to decrease and plastically deforms the rivet, in which the pressurizing surface of the lower anvil is formed into a flat shape that perpendicularly intersects the axial line, and a surface roughening treatment is performed on the pressurizing surface.

A clamping method includes a step (S) for applying, by a first support portion disposed on one surface side of a plurality of superposed members and a second support portion disposed on the other surface side of the plurality of members, a predetermined first pressure to the plurality of members, and sandwiching the plurality of members; a step (S) for forming a through hole with respect to the plurality of members by a cutting tool with the first pressure; a step (S) for applying a predetermined second pressure to the plurality of members after the through hole is formed, and sandwiching the plurality of members by the first and second support portions, the second pressure being lower than the first pressure; and a step (S) for fixing a fastening part inserted into the through hole to the plurality of members by a riveting device with the second pressure applied.

The purpose of the present invention is to, after a through-hole is formed in a plurality of members between which a sealant is applied, rapidly and easily remove the sealant flowing into the through-hole. This through-hole forming method is provided with: a step (S) in which a cutting tool rotates about the axis thereof, thereby forming a through-hole in a plurality of members between which a sealant is provided; and a step (S) in which after the through-hole is formed, the cutting tool continues the rotation about the axis thereof for a predetermined time or a predetermined number of rotations, thereby removing the sealant flowing into the through-hole.

A fastening method for fastening using a fastener having a fastener pin and a collar. The method includes a mounting step in which, in a state in which a head portion of the fastener pin is positioned on one side of the portion to be fastened through which the fastener pin is passed, and a lock portion of the fastener pin is positioned on the other side of the portion to be fastened, the collar is mounted onto lock grooves. The method includes a fastening step in which, on the basis of an un-swaged portion height derived from the thickness of the portion to be fastened, the collar is swaged onto the lock grooves and the portion to be fastened is fastened.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a viscous material application apparatus capable of reliably applying an appropriate amount of a viscous material to a shaft-shaped member. A seal application apparatus () is provided with a flexible tubular nozzle (), which is capable of discharging a sealing agent from an opening () formed on the tip thereof, and an actuator () for moving the nozzle (). After or during discharge of the sealing agent by the nozzle (), the tip of the nozzle () moves in the circumferential direction along the outer circumferential surface of a fastener (), and as the nozzle () is stopping the discharge of the sealing agent, the tip of the nozzle () moves in a direction away from the outer circumferential surface of the fastener ().

Viscous material application apparatus

A thermoplastic plastic nut includes a nut main section having a second thread to screw a first thread of a bolt; and a thin wall section weldable to the first thread and disposed to protrude upwardly from the nut main section. A material of the nut main section contains a thermoplastic resin and a material of the thin wall section contains the thermoplastic resin. Thus, a thermoplastic plastic nut, a nut welding device and a nut welding method are provided to make it possible to easily prevent the loosening of the nut.

The present invention is relates to a fiber reinforced resin screwshaped using a resin composition containing reinforcing fiber in a resin. A pitch of threads has a length of 1.5 to 2 times of a standard pitch corresponding to an outer diameter of the threads prescribed in standards of a metric coarse screw, a unified coarse screw and a unified fine screw. An average fiber length of the reinforcing fiber is 1 to 1/3 times of the pitch of the threads in the fiber reinforced resin screw. A content rate of the reinforcing fiber is in a range of 20 to 80%. In this way, the fiber reinforced resin screw to have improved is provided in the strength of the thread.

A swaging tool for fastening a pair of plate members sewages a collar fitted to a pintail side of a fastening pin, where a pinhead of the fastening pin is positioned on one of the plate members and the pintail of the fastening pin is positioned on the other plate member, to the fastening pin with the collar being in contact with the other plate member and to apply a tensile load to the pintail to break off and remove the pintail. The swaging tool includes a holding member that holds the pintail of the fastening pin, a swaging member having a swaging die that comes into contact with and sewages the collar, and a stroke mechanism configured to expand and contract a space between the swaging member and the holding member. The stroke mechanism includes a rotatable rotary member that converts a rotation of the rotary member to the expansion and contraction of the space between the holding member and the swaging member and restricts a rotation of the swaging member and a rotation of the holding member.

A swaging tool in which the pinhead of a fastening pin is positioned on one plate of a pair of plates through which the fastening pin is passed, the pintail of the fastening pin is positioned on the other plate, a collar mounted on the pintail side of the fastening pin is moved to the pinhead side so as to be brought into contact with the plate, the collar is swaged to the fastening pin in the state of contact with the plate, and a tensile load is applied to the pintail to break and remove the pintail, whereby the pair of plates are fastened; wherein the tool is provided with a swage die in which there is formed a swaging hole that is brought into contact with the collar to swage the collar, a low-friction coating film being formed on the inner peripheral surface of the swaging hole.
