A locking and unlocking system includes a controller. The controller is configured to acquire a state of locking and unlocking of a vehicle that is locked and unlocked based on locking and unlocking instruction information acquired from a portable terminal, and send a notification to a first device associated with the vehicle, when the vehicle is not locked during a period of time from when the vehicle is unlocked based on the locking and unlocking instruction information acquired from the portable terminal until a first timing.

The processor issues authentication information to a delivery user terminal when the processor has made the electronic payment in a case where there is specification that the client user pays for the fee at the time of delivery of the package. The delivery user terminal makes a request of a lock/unlock device to lock or unlock the predetermined compartment with the authentication information. The lock/unlock device locks or unlocks the predetermined compartment.

An authentication information providing server includes: a memory configured to store information about vehicles associated with a recipient of a package as a place of delivery, and store pieces of authentication information corresponding to lock/unlock devices each configured to lock or unlock a corresponding one of predetermined compartments of the vehicles; and a processor configured to issue the authentication information to a delivery user terminal based on a request from the delivery user terminal, the delivery user terminal being used by a user who delivers the package, and, when there is a request from the delivery user terminal to set a place of delivery of the package to a vehicle different from a first one of the vehicles, corresponding to the authentication information issued first by the processor, issue the authentication information corresponding to a second one of the vehicles, different from the first one.

An authentication information issuing apparatus is configured to issue authentication information with which a vehicle is unlocked, to a portable terminal, the vehicle being capable of containing a parcel and being locked and unlocked based on the authentication information acquired from the portable terminal, and includes a storage device, an acquiring device and an authentication information sending device. The storage device is configured to store a parcel receipt ID as information with which a delivery destination of the parcel is specified and a vehicle ID as information with which the vehicle is identified, in association with each other. The acquiring device is configured to acquire the parcel receipt ID associated with a target parcel. The authentication information sending device is configured to send the authentication information with which a vehicle as a containment destination of the parcel is unlocked, to the portable terminal, based on the acquired parcel receipt ID.

A server device includes a controller. The controller is configured to acquire temperature information that is information associated with a temperature of a predetermined area inside a vehicle, the predetermined area being configured to store a luggage and the predetermined area being configured to be locked and unlocked. The controller is configured to acquire luggage information that is information on the luggage to be stored in the predetermined area, and determine whether the predetermined area is an environment suitable for storage of the luggage at a scheduled storage time of the luggage based on the luggage information and the temperature information.

Further, as has been made clear in FIG.(), since speed change in the respective gear stages can be carried out only by a shifting action of any two of the clutches Cthrough Cand brakes Bi through B, the speed change control can be facilitated and it is possible to prevent a shock to the transmission from occurring.

An automatic transmission having first and second groups of successive forward-drive positions for outputting a rotary motion a speed of which is higher than the speed of a rotary motion received from an input member, the first group being established by an engaging action of a first input clutch while the second group being established by an engaging action of a second input clutch, or first and second groups of successive forward-drive positions for reducing the speed of the rotary motion received from the input member, the first and second groups being established by an engaging action of a first and second input clutches respectively. The successive operating positions of the first group have respective speed ratios different from those of the second group. The automatic transmission is shiftable to a selected one of the successive operating positions of a selected one of the first and second groups.
