A vehicle air conditioner having a compressor to compress a refrigerant, an air flow passage to supply air to the vehicle; a radiator; an outdoor heat exchanger; a battery temperature adjustment device for letting a heat medium circulate through a battery mounted in the vehicle, thereby adjusting a temperature of the battery; and a control device. The battery temperature adjustment device has a refrigerant-heat medium heat exchanger for performing exchange of heat between the refrigerant and the heat medium. The control device is configured to execute: a radiator and outdoor heat exchanger heating/battery cooling mode, and an obstruct inflow heating/battery cooling mode.

Air conditioner for vehicle

An air conditioner includes a battery temperature adjustment device which adjusts the temperature of a battery and has a refrigerant-heat medium heat exchanger to exchange heat between a refrigerant and a heat medium. A controller executes a first heating/battery cooling mode to let the refrigerant discharged from a compressor radiate heat in a radiator, decompress the refrigerant, and then let the refrigerant absorb heat in an outdoor heat exchanger and the refrigerant-heat medium heat exchanger, and a second heating/battery cooling mode to let the refrigerant discharged from the compressor radiate heat in the radiator and the outdoor heat exchanger, decompress the refrigerant, and then let the refrigerant absorb heat in the refrigerant-heat medium heat exchanger.

There is disclosed a vehicle air conditioning device which is capable of judging, as early as possible, refrigerant shortage, for example, due to leakage of refrigerant with elapse of time, and protecting a compressor. The vehicle air conditioning device includes a compressor, a radiator, an outdoor expansion valve, and a heat absorber. A control device possesses normal time data indicating a relation between a suction refrigerant temperature Ts and a discharge refrigerant temperature Td of the compressor when a refrigerant circuit R is charged with a sufficient amount of the refrigerant. The control device calculates, from the normal time data, a discharge refrigerant temperature estimated value Tdst at normal time on the basis of the current suction refrigerant temperature Ts, and compares the value and the current discharge refrigerant temperature Td, thereby judging refrigerant shortage of the refrigerant circuit.

Vehicle air conditioning device

A vehicle air conditioner is provided which is capable of detecting a refrigerant lack accompanying a refrigerant leakage and the like over time at the earliest possible stage and protecting a compressor. The vehicle air conditioner is provided with a compressor, a radiator, an outdoor expansion valve, and a heat absorber. The vehicle air conditioner holds normal time data indicating a relation between the number of revolutions NC of the compressor and a discharge refrigerant temperature Td thereof when a sufficient amount of refrigerant is filled in a refrigerant circuit R. The present invention calculates a discharge refrigerant temperature estimated value Tdst in normal time from the normal time data on the basis of a current number of revolutions NC and compares the discharge refrigerant temperature estimated value Tdst with a current discharge refrigerant temperature Td to determine a refrigerant lack of the refrigerant circuit.
