A round radiography system performing round radiography using a radiographic imaging apparatus includes: a hardware processor that obtains examination information on an examination performing round radiography, and generates additional information for supporting the round radiography in the examination; and a display that displays the obtained examination information, and the generated additional information. The additional information is at least any of a size of the radiographic imaging apparatus, information about appropriateness of a radiographic image, radiographic difficulty, information about trimming of the radiographic image, information on a radiographer, and information about change from a predetermined radiographic condition, in past radiography of a subject of the examination or a subject having a physical size similar to that of the subject.

A radiographic image capturing apparatus includes: a two-dimensional array of radiation detecting elements that generate one or more electric charges in proportion to a dose of incident radiation; and a control unit that performs control, at least, to read the electric charges from the radiation detecting elements and generate image data. An image capturing mode is switchable between a controlled mode in which the radiographic image capturing apparatus is under control of an external console and a stand-alone mode in which the radiographic image capturing apparatus autonomously performs image capturing without the control of the console. A radiographic image capturing system is described. If a hardware processor determines that an image processor and an image analyzing unit are capable of sharing image data via an identical memory, the image processor stores image data in the memory and the image analyzing unit analyzes the image data with reference to the memory. If the hardware processor determines that the image processor and the image analyzing unit can send and receive the data via a wired network, the image processor transfers the data to the image analyzing unit, and the image analyzing unit analyzes the data. If the hardware processor determines that the image processor and the image analyzing unit can send and receive the data via a wireless network, the image processor compresses the data or decimates partial data and transfers the data to the image analyzing unit, and the image analyzing unit decompresses and analyzes the data.

The present invention provides a radiography apparatus that can effectively exhibit the advantages of individual image capturing modes, namely, a controlled mode and an autonomous mode. A radiography apparatus includes: a plurality of radiation detecting elements that are arrayed two-dimensionally and that generate charges in accordance with the dose of radiation used for irradiation; and a control means that exercises control so as to at least read the charges from the individual radiation detecting elements and generate image data, wherein the image capturing mode can be switched between a controlled mode, in which image capturing is controlled via an external console, and an autonomous mode, in which image capturing is executed autonomously without being controlled via the console, and when the image capturing mode is switched between the controlled mode and the autonomous mode, the control means switches its processing method to a processing method for the image capturing mode entered after the switching.

Radiographic image capturing apparatus and radiographic image capturing system

A radiographic image capturing device includes the following. A two-dimensional array of radiation detectors generate electrical charges corresponding to a dose of incident radiation. A control unit reads the electrical charges discharged from the radiation detectors in a form of image data. The control unit has radiographic modes including a still image mode for still image radiography, a moving image mode for moving image radiography, and a continuous radiographic mode for reading the image data without distinguishing between the still image radiography and the moving image radiography. The control unit selects the continuous radiographic mode to sequentially read the image data when an instruction on performing the still image radiography or the moving image radiography is not sent from an external control device or a user or when the radiographic mode is unknown due to communication failure with the external control device.

A power supply detector detects an available state of external electric power. A controller controls a turned-on and a turned-off state of the radiographic image capturing apparatus. At a timing when the power supply detector detects a change from the available state to the unavailable state of the external electric power, the controller turns off the radiographic image capturing apparatus if the connector coupling detector detects the coupling between the external connector and the connector of the radiographic image capturing apparatus, or the controller maintains the turned-on state if the connector coupling detector detects the uncoupling between the external connector and the connector of the radiographic image capturing apparatus.
