Fluid feeding apparatus

A frequency adjusting circuit for use with a digital receiver is disclosed, the circuit comprising a means (mixers 3 and 4) for converting the frequency of a received digital signal into an intermediate frequency signal, a local oscillator (VCOs 7 and 8 and PLLs 9 and 10) for supplying a local oscillation signal to the frequency converting means, and a frequency adjusting means (20) for calculating a frequency deviation of the intermediate frequency signal (D1) for each sample, performing a predetermined calculation corresponding to the measured value, and controlling the oscillation frequency of the local oscillator corresponding to the obtained calculated value, wherein the frequency adjusting means compensates the calculated value corresponding to a receiving electric field intensity of the intermediate frequency signal. The frequency adjusting means includes a means (calculating portion 23) for detecting a variation value of the receiving electric field intensity, comparing the deviation value with a threshold value, and when the variation value is larger than the threshold value, removing the frequency deviation at that time from those that are input from the frequency adjusting means.

Frequency adjusting method for use with digital receiver and frequency

A receive condition in burst transmission varies in units of a burst or a plurality of symbol times. The present invention provides a soft decision signal outputting receiver which can simply produce correct reliability information even if the receive condition varies while employing a simple reliability information production method. A demodulator demodulates a burst signal to obtain a hard decision signal. A time-varying reliability information production circuit receives information of a demodulation process from the demodulator 11 and produces reliability information regarding the hard decision signal. The time-varying reliability information production circuit receives signal quality information which reflects a receive condition for each burst or each plurality of symbol times, and changes, based on the signal quality information, a production method for reliability information or elements such as threshold levels to be used in a production method for each burst or each plurality of symbol times. A soft decision signal production circuit produces a soft decision signal from the hard decision signal and the reliability information.

One frame of speech signal data and subframes of speech signal data divided from the frame of speech signal data are encoded by frame and subframe encoding processes while another frame is decoded by frame and subframe decoding processes. The frame and subframe encoding processes and the frame and subframe decoding processes are interleaved to reduce the DSP memory capacity needed for a speech codec.
