A heat-exchanging ventilation device performs ventilation while exchanging heat between a supply airflow and a discharge airflow. The heat-exchanging ventilation device includes: a casing; a heat exchanger having a prism shape and accommodated in the casing to be insertable into and removable from the casing; a plurality of support members to support the heat exchanger in the casing; and a rotational force applying unit to apply a rotational force to the heat exchanger and rotate the heat exchanger. When a rotational force is applied to the heat exchanger in one direction by the rotational force applying unit, the heat exchanger is pressed against the support members, and when application of a rotational force in the one direction by the rotational force applying unit is stopped, the heat exchanger becomes rotatable in another direction.

Heat-exchanging ventilation device, method for attaching heat exchanger, and method for detaching heat exchanger

A compressor includes a cylindrical casing, a bundle which includes a tubular stationary member and a rotor accommodated into the tubular stationary member, the bundle being configured to be inserted into an inner portion of the casing, and a roller configured to roll on an inner circumferential surface of the casing while supporting the bundle when the bundle is inserted into the inner portion of the casing along an axial direction. An outer circumferential surface of the roller is a continuous convex curved surface defined such that a curvature radius of an end side curved surface portion along a rotating shaft of the roller is smaller than a curvature radius of a center curved surface portion.

In a vehicle travelling by use of a travelling drive source such as an engine or a motor, the gear shift ratio of a continuously variable transmission B can be changed by increasing or decreasing the width of a groove in a driving pulley 19 of the continuously variable transmission B by a gear shift ratio changing device 61 using a motor 62 as a drive source. The motor 62 is controlled on the basis of output signals from a throttle opening degree sensor, an engine rotational speed sensor and a vehicle speed sensor, thereby enabling an energy-saving travelling suited to an operational condition of the travelling drive source or a travelling condition of the vehicle. The gear shift ratio changing device 61 is supported in a floating manner within a casing 3, 8 for the continuously variable transmission B. This achieves not only a reduction in size of a power unit, but also ensures that any operational sound of the motor 62 is prevented from leaking out, and any vibration from the engine or a wheel cannot be transmitted to the gear shift ratio changing device 61.

Continuously variable transmission vehicle

A reactive ionized cluster beam deposition method according to this invention is embodied by utilizing two vacuum subregions partitioned by a partition wall formed with an opening. A closed heating crucible and an ionization accelerating unit are disposed in one vacuum subregion partitioned by the partition wall. A substrate is also disposed in the other vacuum subregion, and at the same time a reactive gas is introduced thereinto. Degrees of vacuums in the two vacuum subregions partitioned by the partition wall are equal to or different from each other. Particularly, a gas concentration in the latter vacuum subregion is enhanced. Then, the ionized cluster beams formed in the former vacuum subregion are introduced into the latter vacuum subregion via the opening of the partition wall and react to the reactive gas within the latter vacuum subregion. The ionized cluster beams reacting to the reactive gas impinge on the substrate, thereby forming the deposited film on the substrate surface.

Reactive ionized cluster beam deposition method

An automatic centrifugal clutch is arranged at the rear of an engine of a motorcycle, and a belt type continuously variable transmission and a gear type speed reduction device are arranged on opposite sides of the clutch whereby a space at the rear of the engine is effectively utilized, and a space for installing a kick starter is secured externally of the belt type continuously variable transmission. An output shaft of a reduction device and an intermediate shaft of the reduction device are arranged on opposite sides of a plane extending so as to include axes of a crankshaft and an input shaft whereby the longitudinal length of a power transmission device is shortened. An opening of a cooling air discharge passage is provided to face the automatic centrifugal clutch at the front end of the reduction device whereby the automatic centrifugal clutch can be effectively cooled while effectively utilizing the space. Two mating surfaces formed in the case means are offset from each other, whereby the space within the case means can be effectively utilized. Furthermore, a reed valve and a starter motor are arranged with the crankshaft interposed therebetween on a crank case whereby there is secured a space for efficiently arranging an intake system leading to the reed valve.

A system for cooling the engine compartment and for providing clean air to the air cleaner of a motorized cycle having a body cover, including an engine fan, a fan cover extending between the fan and a head cover surrounding the cylinder head, and a vent hole in the shroud formed by the fan cover and the head cover directing the air flow induced by the fan, after it has been used to cool the cylinder head, into the engine compartment defined by the body cover and towards the air cleaner intake port.
