To provide a controller for rotary electric machine which can determine an abnormality of a calculation unit which calculates voltage command values on a rotating coordinate system of d-axis and q-axis by other arithmetic processors, without adding a new arithmetic processor for abnormality detection, in a controller which controls a rotary electric machine using a plurality of arithmetic processors. The second arithmetic processor calculates voltage command values for control on rotating coordinate system of d-axis and q-axis, based on current command values acquired from the first arithmetic processor; and the first arithmetic processor calculates voltage command values for determination on rotating coordinate system of d-axis and q-axis, based on the current command values, and determines whether or not abnormality occurred in the second arithmetic processor, by comparing the voltage command values for control acquired from the second arithmetic processor with the voltage command values for determination.

Controller for rotary electric machine

There has been a problem that a rotation second-order angle error due to a phase difference between a sine signal and a cosine signal deviating from π/2 cannot be reduced. Therefore, provided is an angle detection device that can suppress a second-order angle error caused due to the phase difference between a first sine signal and a second sine signal deviating from π/2, by calculating a detection angle from a first detection signal based on the sum of two sine signals having different phases and a second detection signal based on the difference of the two sine signals.

The current weakening command calculation unit calculates the current weakening command in which a high-frequency component is amplified on the basis of the difference between the reference voltage value and the output voltage value.

To provide a power converter which can distribute heat generation of the switching devices with good accuracy, even when the maximum heating phase of the positive electrode side and the maximum heating phase of the negative electrode side are different phases, and even when the maximum heating phase of the positive electrode side and the maximum heating phase of the negative electrode side changes before and after combining the offset voltage. The power converter calculates the offset voltage that makes the positive electrode side maximum heating evaluation value and the negative electrode side maximum heating evaluation value coincide with each other, in a state of controlling on/off the switching devices based on the combined AC voltage commands of the offset voltage.

A control device for an AC rotary machine includes: a DC power supply; an inverter; a magnetic flux generator; an angle detector; and a control arithmetic unit; wherein the control arithmetic unit is configured to: calculate, based on a positional relationship between a current path and the angle detector, a correction signal for correcting signal errors of a cosine signal and a sine signal, which are caused by a noise magnetic flux component due to at least one of a DC current flowing between the DC power supply and the inverter and multi-phase AC currents flowing between the inverter and armature windings; and control the inverter by using angle information obtained from values after the correction by the correction signal.
