In an engine load control device of a work vehicle, an output of an engine is transmitted to a hydraulic actuator via a variable displacement type hydraulic pump. A controller is configured to calculate, based on a target rotational speed of the engine detected by a target rotational speed detecting portion and an actual rotational speed of the engine detected by an actual rotational speed detecting portion, a variation rate per unit time of a difference between the detected results, and to adjust the maximum absorbing torque of the hydraulic pump according to the magnitude of the variation rate.

Engine load control device of work vehicle

An engine control device is adapted to a working vehicle that is capable of switching between a power mode and an economy mode, and capable of forcibly downshifting through gears of a transmission so as to shift down to a lower speed side. The engine control device includes an engine mode determining section configured to determine whether the engine mode is in the power mode or the economy mode, a gear detection section configured to detect current gear of a plurality of gears, a kick-down detection section configured to detect a kick-down instruction, and a control section configured to switch the engine into the power mode when the kick-down instruction is detected while the engine mode is in the economy mode and the gears are in the lowest gear.

In a crawler frame in which legs in a center frame are formed from cast steel, a simple structure is achieved by reducing the number of components. To this end, the crawler frame, which has a center frame composed of a central frame section for supporting a swing bearing and legs located on the right and left sides of the central frame section; and track frames disposed on the sides of the distal ends of the legs, respectively, of the center frame, is designed such that each of the legs is bifurcated into front and rear leg sections and the front and rear leg sections are respectively formed from cast steel.

Hydraulic connection means between a vehicle body and a track-mounted

A closed enclosure for a vehicle engine has an air inlet and an air outlet formed at its front and rear ends. Both air inlet and air outlet have sets of sound absorber blades for noiselessly admitting ambient cooling air into the enclosure and for noiselessly exhausting the air therefrom. Disposed horizontally within the enclosure, a first heat insulating partition divides its interior into an engine compartment accommodating the engine and, thereover, a muffler and air cleaner compartment. A second heat insulating partition is mounted vertically on the first partition to subdivide the muffler and air cleaner compartment into a muffler compartment receiving an exhaust muffler assembly and an air cleaner compartment receiving an air cleaner assembly. The engine compartment is open both forwardly and rearwardly for the passage of the cooling air therethrough. While the air cleaner compartment is closed, the muffler compartment is open forwardly to take in part of the ambient cooling air from the air inlet via another set of sound absorber blades. An additional pair of air outlets are defined in both sidewalls of the enclosure for the escape of the cooling air from the muffler compartment.
