Specified phenylalanine derivatives and analogues thereof have an antagonistic activity to &#x3b1;4 integrin. They are used as therapeutic agents for various diseases concerning &#x3b1;4 integrin. 

Phenylalanine derivatives

A pharmaceutical composition containing a heterocyclic compound of the formula (I) wherein each symbol is as defined in the specification, an isomer thereof, a solvate thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient has a superior TNF-&#x3b1; production suppressing action. Accordingly, it is useful for the prophylaxis or treatment of various diseases caused by abnormal production of TNF-&#x3b1;.

Heterocyclic compounds

A bottom portion of a metal tape is attached to an end portion of a helix. A coaxial inner conductor for input or output of a high frequency signal is fixed by its end portion being interposed between upright surfaces of the metal tape. Azole compounds represented by formula I: wherein ring A is isoxazole and the like, R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group and the like, R2 is a hydrogen atom and the like, and R3 is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group and the like, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof inhibit the physiological activity of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), and are useful as for the prophylaxis or treatment of diseases in which inhibition of the physiological activity of LPA is useful for the prophylaxis or treatment thereof, such as diseases involving the LPA receptor.

Specified phenylpropionic acid derivatives and analogues thereof have an antagonistic activity to &#x3b1; 4 integrin. They are used as therapeutic agents or preventive agents for various diseases concerning &#x3b1; 4 integrin, such as inflammatory diseases in which &#x3b1; 4 integrin-depending adhesion process participates in the pathology, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel diseases, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, Sj&#xf6;gren's syndrome, asthma, psoriasis, allergy, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, arterial sclerosis, restenosis, tumor proliferation, tumor metastasis and transplantation rejection.
