A first spring array and a second spring array are provided in a holder body. Three sample plates can be mounted in the holder body. The image processor section alters the magnification of the whole image based on instructions for altering the magnification of the whole image displayed on the display device. The image processor section displays new first markers of the same size as the first markers placed on the unaltered magnification whole image such that the new first markers are placed on the altered magnification whole image. The image processor section causes new second markers of the same size as the second markers placed on the unaltered magnification whole image to be placed on the altered magnification whole image.

An electron microscope includes: a display control unit which sequentially acquires electron microscope images of a sample and causes a display unit to display the electron microscope images as a live image; an analysis area setting unit which sets an analysis area on the sample based on a designated position on the live image designated by pointing means; and an analysis control unit which performs control for executing elemental analysis of the set analysis area. The analysis area setting unit sets, as the analysis area, an area on the sample which corresponds to a continuous area including the designated position and having brightness comparable to brightness of the designated position.

Disclosed is a color developer composition for photography which is used for preparing a color development replenisher; with the composition comprising at least one color developing agent selected from the group consisting of 4-amino-3-methyl-N-ethyl-N-(.beta.-hydroxyethyl)aniline, 4-amino-3-methyl-N-ethyl-N-(.beta.-hydroxypropyl)aniline, 4-amino-3-methyl-N-ethyl-N-(.beta.-hydroxybutyl)aniline and salts thereof, having a specific gravity ranging from 1.05 to 1.18, and being kept in a container which is made up of high-density polyethylene alone as a plastic material so that the average weight thereof per unit surface area is from 0.04 to 0.09 g/cm.sup.2, thereby ensuring sufficient stability in the composition and recyclability for the container.

Color developer composition for photography

A process for producing a photographic suspended processing agent composition is disclosed, comprising dividing the constituent components of the composition into a plurality of component groups, dissolving respective component groups in water to prepare a plurality of concentrated solutions, and rapidly mixing the concentrated solutions to disperse and suspend the constituent components, thereby producing a suspended development processing agent composition for silver halide photographic materials.

A photographic light-sensitive material processing method in which not only a low-replenishment process, a speedy process and a compensation process in addition to a standard process can be carried out, but replenishment can be performed appropriately for various types of film or the like. A plurality of color developers are accommodated in respective developing tanks. A controller sets conveyance paths to selectively convey light-sensitive materials to any one of the development tanks. Further, the controller controls the operations of replenishment pumps by calculating the appropriate replenishment rate in accordance with the quantity of processing of film through a conveyance quantity detection sensor, a density detection sensor, a memory and an arithmetic operation unit.

Method for processing photographic light-sensitive material

A method for continuously processing a silver halide color photographic photosensitive material by treating this material with a color developer containing at least one aromatic primary amine color developing agent, comprises the steps of covering the surface of a color developer replenisher in a color developer replenisher tank with a layer of a floating fluid and replenishing 20 to 100 ml of the color developer replenisher per m.sup.2 of the photosensitive material to a color developing tank. This method makes it possible to inhibit the formation of the precipitate in the color developer replenisher caused when the amount of the replenisher is considerably reduced and also to inhibit the change of the photographic characteristics by change of the amount of the processed photosensitive material so that the amount of the color developer replenisher can be remarkably reduced to the range of 20 to 100 ml per square meter of the photosensitive material and that of the waste water can be also remarkably reduced.
