The invention addresses the problem of providing a cloth and a textile product, which are extremely excellent in stretchability and sweat-absorbing and quick-drying properties and further have a natural material-like texture and appearance. As a means for resolution, for example, a cloth is obtained using a composite yarn containing a crimped yarn and a stretch fiber.

A task is to provide a cloth which is excellent not only in tear strength but also in snagging resistance and wear resistance, and which preferably has design properties and stretchability, and a garment obtained using the cloth, and a solution to problem is a woven fabric containing two or more types of yarns, the woven fabric comprising a high strength yarn A having a yarn strength of 4.3 cN/dtex or more and a yarn B having a yarn strength which is smaller than that of the high strength yarn A, wherein the difference in total fineness between the high strength yarn A and the yarn B is 20 dtex or less.

Textile and garment

Provided are a woven fabric having excellent lightweightness and water resistance and a garment using the woven fabric. The woven fabric has an areal weight of 100 g/mor less and a cover factor of 1,800 or more. One of the warp and weft of the woven fabric contains a false-twist crimped yarn, and the other contains a non-crimped yarn.

Disclosed are a polyester fiber having excellent antibacterial performance, deodorizing performance, and stain resistance together with sufficient durability; a method for producing the same; a cloth; a textile product; and a polyester formed article. The polyester fiber, cloth, or polyester formed article has a pH of less than 7.0 achieved by subjecting a polyester fiber, a cloth, or a polyester formed article containing a polyester copolymerized with an ester-forming metal sulfonate compound and/or an ester-forming phosphonium sulfonate compound to an acid treatment, or alternatively by applying a processing liquid having a pH of less than 7.0 to a polyester fiber, a cloth, or a polyester formed article.
