An audio signal input and output device includes a port that inputs or outputs an audio signal, an interface that receives a specification of a channel or bus to be assigned to the port, and a sender that sends information over a network for assigning the channel or bus based on the specification received by the interface. The information assigns the inputted audio signal to a predetermined input channel of the management device. A speaker emits a sound based on the inputted audio signal.

Sound equipment includes an operation element, a memory, a processor, a controller, and a display. The operation element receives a set value. The memory stores the set value. An apparatus is provided for remotely monitoring a plurality of amplifiers on a display device. The amplifiers are provided to process audio signals and directly or indirectly connected to a network. In the apparatus, a collecting section collects a group code from each of the amplifiers through the network. The group code is allocated to each amplifier according to a grouping system for grouping the plurality of the amplifiers. A display control section displays a tree diagram of the amplifiers according to the collected group codes on the display device as a graphical representation of the grouping system.

Remote audio amplifier monitoring system

A digital audio device has a plurality of input ports that are provided with a plurality of digital audio signals. A plurality of extraction parts extract a clock signal from the digital audio signal, when the clock signal is superimposed in the digital audio signal provided to corresponding input ports. A first selection part selects the extracted clock signal as a word clock when the clock signal is extracted by any one of the plurality of the extraction parts. A frequency storage part stores a frequency of the clock signal selected by the first selection part. An internal clock generator outputs a clock signal having a frequency as specified. A second selection part selects the clock signal output from the internal clock generator as a word clock when no clock signal is extracted by the plurality of the extraction parts, the frequency of the clock signal output from the internal clock generator being set to the frequency stored in the frequency storage part. A reception part receives the digital audio signals provided to the plurality of the input ports in synchronization with the word clock selected by one of the first selection part and the second selection part.

A digital mixer is configured to store, in response to a store operation by a user, values of parameters for one input channel stored in a current memory together with the bus type of each mixing bus at the time of the store into a library as one preset, and to recall, when recalling the values of the parameters in the stored one preset into the current memory in response to a recall operation by the user, the values of the parameters in the preset after converted into parameters corresponding to the bus type at the time of the recall regarding a part of the buses whose bus type stored does not coincide with the bus type at the time of the recall.

A plurality of amplifiers and PCs each having installed therein remote controlling software for controlling the amplifiers are connected to a network. Data stored in a memory of each of the amplifiers include a device ID, operation data and an area ID. Memory of each of the PCs stores therein a project file each including area IDs, device information and device IDs. On the basis of the area IDs and device IDs stored in the amplifiers and the area IDs and device IDs stored in the project file, a CPU of the PC performs association between the amplifiers and virtual devices indicated by the device information and overwrites the operation data of a particular amplifier, having been associated with any one of the virtual devices, onto the project file, to thereby display, on a display, the operation data of the associated amplifier as operation data of the corresponding virtual device.

Sound system, and controlling and monitoring method therefor

An amplifier controller for controlling a plurality of amplifiers connected therewith is provided. Each of said amplifiers is provided with one or more audio output channels. The amplifier controller operates in two modes of solo mode and normal mode. When the solo mode is initiated, the amplifier controller instructs all of the amplifiers to turn off output of all audio output channels provided in the amplifiers, and only in the solo mode, according to selection of an output channel for which solo output is to be performed, the amplifier controller instructs the amplifier provided with the selected channel to turn on output of the channel, and instructs each of the amplifiers provided with an audio output channel other than the selected channel to turn off output of the audio output channel.

The present invention is directed to a digital mixer that selectively provides audio signal processing functions to a user depending on the authority granted to the user's log-in credentials. The preferred embodiment of the digital mixer includes a mounting unit for removably mounting a storage medium, a detector for detecting the mounting or removal of the storage medium, a determining portion for determining whether a user key is stored in the mounted storage medium, and a control portion that, upon the determining portion confirming that the mounted storage medium includes a user key, causes the digital mixer to display a log-on screen for a specific user who is associated with the stored user key. In accordance with the preferred embodiment, the digital mixer automatically logs out the user upon detecting that the storage medium is removed from the digital mixer.

Scene data including a set of values of a plurality of signal processing parameters are stored in a memory. Adjusting values (offset values) of the parameters stored in a buffer are each modified only when a user has performed operation for modifying the value, and never modified automatically. Upon selection of new scene data, the individual parameters of the new scene data are read out from the memory, and the value of at least one of the read-out parameters is modified in accordance with the adjusting value. The values of the parameters, including the thus-modified value of the parameter, are collectively set in a signal processor, such as a mixer. If the modified parameter value is beyond a predetermined limit value, a value corresponding to the limit value is set in the processor, in which case the adjusting value stored in the buffer is not changed.

A drive apparatus for volume control devices is provided for setting, promptly and exactly, the position of a control device such as a fader to its standard position. A first volume control device (-), an operation position thereof is operative automatically, is provided for controlling a first gain of an audio signal. A position control device (-) is provided correspondingly to the first volume control device. A second volume control device (-), an operation position thereof is operative automatically, is provided for controlling a second gain of the audio signal, so that a total gain applicable to the audio signal is determined by the operation positions of the first and second volume control devices. A controller is provided for setting, when the position control device is operated, the operation position of the first volume control device to a pre-specified standard position (0 dB), and for setting the operation position of the second volume control device to a position where a previous total gain before the position control device is operated is maintained.

A digital mixer has a panel and a mixing processor configurable in matching with a scene to mix audio signals fed from input channels and to feed the mixed audio signals to output channels. The panel has an operator manipulable to operate the mixing processor, and a display provided for displaying a state of the mixing processor. Further, a storage is provided for storing configuration patterns of the mixing processor in correspondence to various scenes. A retriever is provided for calling one of the various scenes and for retrieving the configuration pattern corresponding to the called scene from the storage; a selector provided for selecting one of a preview mode and a non-preview mode. A controller operates when the non-preview mode is selected for actually configuring the mixing processor according to the retrieved configuration pattern to thereby enable the mixing processor to reproduce the corresponding scene, and operates when the preview mode is selected for producing a preview of a configured state of the mixing processor according to the retrieved configuration pattern without actually configuring the mixing processor to thereby enable the display to present the preview.

A sound field control apparatus which is capable of adjusting the number of outputs as required. The sound field control apparatus is comprised of a master device, and a plurality of salve devices serially connected in cascade to the master device. In the master device, a picked-up sound signal input section inputs picked-up sound signals from a plurality of microphones. A signal processing section generates reflected sound signals from the input picked-up sound signals. A cascade output terminal outputs the reflected sound signals. In each of the slave devices, a cascade input terminal inputs the generated reflected sound signal, a plurality of signal processing sections correspond to a plurality of speakers and each adjust sound characteristics of the input reflected sound signals and generate and output signals to the corresponding speakers. A cascade output terminal directly outputs the input reflected sound signals. A desired number of slave devices are serially connected in cascade to the master device, and the speakers correspond in number to a number of the slave devices.

Arrangements are made such that a plurality of operators, such as faders, can be set to opposite operational directions. When any one of the operators has been operated in a particular direction, a control value of each of the other operator, set to the same operational direction as the operated operator, is controlled in the same direction as the particular operated direction, while a control value of each of the other operators, set to the opposite operational direction from the operated operator, is controlled in the opposite direction from the particular operated direction. Where control values of a plurality of channels are to be controlled via a collective control controller, each of the channels is set to a forward or inverse operational direction. Thus, even faders that are to be operated in opposite directions can be appropriately operated collectively as a group.

Level adjustment apparatus

There is provided a signal processing apparatus that is capable of giving terminal names which are the most suitable for processing on signals. A plurality of kinds of signals are externally input via a plurality of input terminals of an input terminal group. Processing is performed on the plurality of kinds of signals to generate a signal for at least one channel. The signal for the at least one channel is externally output via a plurality of output terminals of an output terminal group. A plurality of effective terminals included in at least one of the input terminal group and the output terminal group are automatically numbered.
