A lens barrel comprises a fixed optical system though which a subject image enters into the lens barrel along with an optical axis, a retreatable blur correction optical system that corrects an image blur by moving within a plane ranging perpendicular to the optical axis in an operating position and that retreats to a storage position from the operating position, a blur correction optical system drive unit that drives the retreatable blur correction optical system within the plane ranging perpendicular to the optical axis, and a correction information recording unit at which reference position correction information is recorded, the correction information indicating a reference position for the retreatable blur correction optical system within the plane ranging perpendicular to the optical axis.

In a camera, air orifices for linking the space inside a cell compartment with the outside of a casing are disposed in a position other than the grip portion which is held by a user, in the vicinity of the center of the front surface of the casing, that is, in the vicinity of a lens-barrel. A concave-convex portion serving as an air orifice guard is formed at the side opposite to that where the lens-barrel is disposed with respect to the air orifices. As a result, even when the user takes a picture of an object by holding the camera with his/her own hand, the air orifices are prevented from being closed by the user's hand. Oxygen (air) can be constantly supplied to the fuel cell accommodated inside the cell compartment, and the fuel cell can continuously generate a sufficient quantity of electricity.

Described is an electronic device and an electronic device control method. If voltage generated by the fuel cell, acquired from the voltage detection part, is greater than a specified voltage reference value (VRV), a display part displays the fuel cell as normal. However, if the generated voltage is smaller than the VRV, the residual fuel amount (RFA) detection part detects the RFA. If the RFA is smaller than a specified fuel reference value (FRV), the display part displays that the fuel is insufficient. However, if the RFA is greater than the FRV, the oxidizing agent concentration (OAC) detection part detects the OAC of the fuel cell. If the OAC is smaller than a specified OAC reference value, the display part displays that the oxidizing agent is insufficient. However, if the OAC is greater than the OAC reference value, the display part displays that the fuel cell is abnormal.

Providing a camera housing which is suitably used to house a camera with a liquid crystal monitor having a touch panel and is capable of preventing the touch panel from being broken. The camera housing includes, an external operation unit provided outside the camera housing, a contact member provided inside the camera housing for operating the touch panel by contacting the touch panel, and an elastic member provided between the external operation unit and the contact member for transmitting pressing force which is applied on the external operation unit to the contact member.

The object of the present invention is to enable reliable supply of oxygen which is necessary for a fuel cell to generate electric power, to the fuel cell. A lens barrier is opened/closed by a barrier drive cylinder disposed on an outer peripheral side of a lens. The barrier drive cylinder is rotated by a rotation of a cam cylinder together with a first cylinder so as to move forward and backward. In the course of a movement of the lens from a retracted position to a shooting position, the barrier drive cylinder rotates such that a drive ring biased to an opening direction by a spring is driven into an opening direction. The barrier is, thus, opened. When the lens is moved from the shooting position to the retracted position, the operation reverse to the aforementioned is performed to close the barrier. An annular seal member is provided into the space between the barrier drive cylinder and the first cylinder so as to prevent water from entering into the barrel.

A camera body has grip portions for right-handed users and the left-handed users provided respectively on the right and left sides thereof. A release button to be operated by the right hand is mounted on the side of the grip portion for right-handed users, and a release button to be operated by the left hand is mounted on the side of the grip portion for left-handed users. A ring member is rotatably mounted about a lens-barrel. When the ring member is rotated toward the release button for right-handed users, the release button for right-handed users is enabled, and when it is rotated toward the release button for left-handed users, the release button for left-handed users is enabled.

Equipped with a display element which displays a visual field frame in the picture plane by means of obstructing the subject light beam, and which is formed from material which scatters light, and irradiation means which irradiates light to the said display element. When the irradiation means is caused to operate, because its light is scattered by the display element and guided to the eyepiece side, the display element can namely cause the visual field frame portion to shine brightly.

A viewfinder device having an optical path for viewing a photographic image includes a plurality of visual field frames. Each of the plurality of visual field frames define a photographic range. In addition, each of the plurality of visual field frames is positioned on one of a plurality of visual field frame display units. The plurality of visual field frame display units have overlapping regions and are positioned on a viewfinder mask member. The viewfinder mask member is movable in the optical path. The overlapping portions of the visual field frame display units reduce an amount of movement necessary to move the viewfinder mask member to position the visual field frames within the optical path.

A camera that prevents frame shifting without hindering a film feeding. The camera includes a cartridge chamber housing a film cartridge, a film passage forming member, a film passage restricting the film in accordance with the film passage forming member, a film introduction route from the cartridge chamber to the film passage. The camera further includes a frame shift prevention member with an insertion unit engaging with the film perforations and controlling the film movement. An angle of inclination of an opposing face on the insertion unit is provided so that a surface of the opposing face on the cartridge chamber side is coplanar to smoothly connect with a wall in the film introduction route.

In a preferred embodiment, a camera has a magnetic head and a pad that is replaceable without removing additional pieces of the device. The device includes film path forming members that form a film path where the film moves in a horizontal direction, a magnetic head that records data in magnetic recording areas on the film surface and/or reads data from the magnetic recording areas and a pad adjacent and facing the magnetic head across the film path. The pad presses the magnetic recording areas of the film against the magnetic head. A holding mechanism holds either the magnetic head or the pad, which is forced by an elastic body to the other of the magnetic head and the pad. The holding mechanism has an insertion unit to hold either the forced magnetic head or the forced pad. The pad can be inserted from the film path into the insertion unit. The holding mechanism further has a receiver that receives an end of the elastic body. The device can further have a hook that hooks on a part of the holding mechanism such that the forced magnetic head or pad is not unintentionally removed from the insertion unit by the force from the elastic body.

The display apparatus according to the present invention includes a display device which has a rotating indicator pointer and which displays information by rotationally driving the indicator pointer, an operating device which is capable of being operated in two manners for rotating the indicator pointer, and a drive control device which rotationally drives the rotating indicator pointer in the same rotational direction, whichever be the one of the two manners in which the operating device is operated.

An apparatus in which photographic film is fed out of a film cartridge and is led through a film path to a spool chamber to be wound on a take-up spool includes a film guide that extends from the end of the film path toward the spool chamber. The film guide reliably guides the film, which has been led to the spool chamber, to the take-up spool. The film guide ensures that the film is properly wound on the take-up spool by preventing it from prematurely curling within the spool chamber. The film guide also ensures that magnetic recording operations performed on the film by a recording head, if present, are also reliably performed.

A camera that reliably prevents frame shifts of film by inserting a frame shift prevention member into a film perforation is disclosed. The camera with a frame shift prevention function includes a frame shift prevention member that is supported to move toward or away from the perforation of the film. The frame shift prevention member includes a first oblique plane that makes contact with the edge of the perforation during feeding of the film in the direction of winding in preparation for shooting the next film and a second oblique plane that makes contact with the edge of the perforation during feeding of the film in the direction of reminding that are formed on the frame shift prevention member. The angle between the second oblique angle and the rewinding direction is smaller than the angle between the first oblique angle and the winding direction.
