A liquid analyzer is one that performs analysis in a state of being immersed in a flowing analysis target liquid, and in order to simply make a good/bad determination and increase reliability, includes: a sensor adapted to, in a state where a responsive membrane is immersed in the flowing analysis target liquid, sense a predetermined component contained in the analysis target liquid; an analysis mechanism adapted to analyze the analysis target liquid with use of voltage generated in the sensor; and a resistance measurement mechanism adapted to, in the state where the responsive membrane is immersed in the flowing analysis target liquid, apply DC voltage to the responsive membrane to measure the resistance of the responsive membrane.

To measure target component concentration in a liquid with higher accuracy without any dedicated apparatus or skill, a method is adapted to include: receiving a successive measurement value obtained by performing successive measurement of the target component concentration with use of a first measurement device immersed in the liquid; receiving a batch measurement value obtained by, with use of a second measurement device, performing batch measurement of the target component concentration in a part sampled from the liquid; and, when the batch measurement value is received, successively calculating a correlation value indicating the correlation between multiple successive measurement values and multiple batch measurement values respectively obtained in mutually corresponding multiple times of successive measurement and multiple times of batch measurement. In addition, the first measurement device is adapted to calculate the target component concentration or correct a successive measurement value with use of the latest correlation value.

A two-screen display device, in which an increase of production cost can be suppressed while the same resolution as an image of a usual (one-screen display) device is maintained, is provided. In a liquid crystal display panel of the two-screen display device, each of a first sub-pixel for first image and a second sub-pixel for second image has an aspect ratio of about 6:1. A source line supplies an image signal to both the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel. Each row of the sub-pixel includes a gate line (first gate line) that drives the first sub-pixel and a gate line (second gate line) that drives the second sub-pixel. An opening of a parallax barrier is disposed in a region between the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel.

A liquid crystal display includes: first and second transparent substrates located such that inner main surfaces face each other with a gap being provided therebetween and a liquid crystal layer is held between the substrates; a parallax barrier provided on an outer main surface of the first transparent substrate and optically separating pixels displaying an image into pixels visually recognized in a specific direction and pixels visually recognized in another specific direction; and a plurality of switching elements, arrayed on the inner main surface of the second transparent substrate, for applying voltage to drive the liquid crystal; wherein the parallax barrier includes a plurality of transmissive portions arrayed to transmit light and a plurality of light blocking portions provided respectively around the transmissive portions to block light, and each of the light blocking portions includes two or more layered light blocking films.

A method of manufacturing a display device according to one aspect of the present invention is a method of manufacturing a display device including a liquid crystal interposed between a CF substrate and a TFT substrate that are opposed to each other, the method including the steps of: bonding the CF substrate and the TFT substrate each having a mother substrate shape to form a cell substrate from which at least one panel is to be cut out; forming, after formation of the cell substrate, a parallax barrier layer for separating a display image on an outer side of the cell substrate at a side of one of the CF substrate and the TFT substrate; and dividing, after formation of the parallax barrier layer, the cell substrate into at least one panel.

In the display area of the TFT array substrate, a pixel electrode, a switching element connected to the pixel electrode, a gate line connected to the switching element and a source line connected to the switching element are formed. In the terminal forming area of the TFT substrate, a terminal electrode for connecting the gate line or source line to external signal source is formed. Around the terminal forming area, a first metallic line and a second metallic line are extended below the terminal electrode. The first metallic line and the second metallic line are connected to the terminal electrode via respective contact holes. The first metallic line and the second metallic line are in different layers interposing an insulating layer therebetween.

A TFT array substrate of a display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a plurality of scanning signal lines formed in a display region; a plurality of display signal lines formed in the display region; a plurality of TFTs arraigned in matrix in the display region; a plurality of scanning lead-out lines arranged in a frame region formed outside the display region in accordance with the scanning signal lines; a gate insulating film formed on the plurality of scanning lead-out lines; and a first conductive layer formed on the gate insulating film and applied with a predetermined potential, the first conductive layer being formed to cover the plurality of scanning lead-out lines outside the sealing material.

A display device comprises scan lines on a insulating substrate, signal lines intersecting with the scan lines with an insulating film interposed therebetween, a display area comprising pixel electrodes connected to the signal lines, a scan line driver circuit connected to the scan lines, a signal line driver circuit connected to the signal lines. The scan line driver circuit and the signal line driver circuit are mounted directly on the insulating substrate outside of the display area and close to one side of the display area. Lines connecting the scan line driver circuit and the signal line driver circuit are formed in an area in which the scan line driver circuit and the signal line driver circuit are mounted.

A liquid crystal display device having transistors disposed at the intersections of gate lines and source lines, pixel electrodes connected with the transistors, opposite electrodes opposite to these pixel electrodes, and liquid crystal held between said opposite electrodes and said pixel electrodes is disclosed. The pixel electrodes comprise a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode. A display device includes a scanning line () formed on an insulating substrate; a storage capacitance line () formed in parallel to the scanning line; an image signal line () formed across the scanning line () and the storage capacitance line () through an insulating layer; and a pixel electrode () being surrounded with the scanning line (), the storage capacitance line () and the image signal line (); wherein at least one overlapped area () of the storage capacitance line () and the image signal line () is defined in the area other than the crossing region of the storage capacitance line () and the image signal line () within one pixel area; whereby, breakage of the image signal line is mended without increasing the production steps, and production yield is improved.

Method of mending breakage of line in display device

Parasitic capacity between Cs lines and source lines forming a pixel section is reduced, whereby characteristic resistant to crosstalk is achieved, aperture ratio is increased, and brightness of LCD is increased. The Cs lines are arranged on the source lines in such a manner as to cover the source lines, and pixel electrodes are arranged and formed on the Cs lines in such a manner as to partially overlap. By forming a structure in which the source lines, the Cs lines and the pixel electrodes are laminated in order, parasitic capacity between the Cs lines and the source lines forming a pixel section can be reduced, and crosstalk can be minimized. As a distance between the source lines and the pixel electrodes can be reduced from the viewpoint of a plan view, aperture ratio can be improved.
