This liquid sample measurement device is provided with: a lancet mounting part to and from which a lancet device having a skin contact section for puncturing skin can be attached and detached; a sensor mounting part to which a biosensor, which is spotted with blood that comes out from the punctured skin, can be attached; and a measurement part that uses the biosensor attached to the sensor mounting part to measure the amounts of substances in the blood. The liquid sample measurement device includes a feature that makes it necessary to replace a lancet device that has been attached to the lance mounting part and has punctured skin, each time a lancet device is used to puncture skin.

A puncture needle cartridge () includes: a lancet body () mounted with a puncture needle () on a front end side and having a mount () on a rear end side; and a plate-like first case () and second case () covering the lancet body () from above and below and arranged slidably back and forth along each other. The puncture needle cartridge () is configured such that the first case () is slid forward of the second case (), and in this slid state, the first case () and the second case () are secured to each other when ejected from the puncture instrument (). This can make the puncture needle cartridge () impossible to mount again on the puncture instrument ().

Puncture needle cartridge and puncture device using same

A puncture needle cartridge () comprises: a columnar lancet body () having a puncture needle on the front end side and a puncture instrument mount () on the rear end side; a protective cap () covering the puncture needle and having a shape extending toward the front end; a skin contact part () placed in front of the tip of the puncture needle, having a planar shape perpendicular to the puncture needle, and formed with a through hole to put the protective cap () through; an elongate plate-like extension () extending from the skin contact part () toward the rear end; and an elastic object () for coupling the extension () to the lancet body () and making the tip of the puncture needle be biased to be located in the rear end side behind the skin contact part ().

Puncturing needle cartridge and puncturing instrument

A puncturing instrument includes a cylindrical main body case having a puncture aperture on a lower end side; a needle holder provided on a puncture aperture side inside the cylindrical main body case; a first elastic object for moving the needle holder to the puncture aperture side; and a second elastic object for pulling the needle holder back to an upper end side inside the cylindrical main body case, from a state in which the needle holder is moved to the puncture aperture side by the first elastic object. A rotator rotates around a rotation shaft fixed to the cylindrical main body case, and is coupled with a coupling portion of the needle holder on a first one of two sides of the rotator with the rotation shaft interposed therebetween and is coupled with the second elastic object on a second one of the two sides of the rotator.

Puncturing instrument

A puncture needle cartridge including a puncture needle, a lancet body adapted to cover part or all of a tip of the puncture needle, a cylindrical puncture needle holder disposed on an outer surface of the lancet body to permit the lancet body to move in an axial direction of the puncture needle; and a protective cap that is separable from the puncture needle holder. The protective cap includes a base adapted to cover an opening in the puncture needle holder, a shaft protruding from the base, and arms mounted on the shaft and configured to abut an inner circumferential surface of the opening in the puncture needle holder by spreading in the opening. A space between tips of the arms is larger than an inside diameter of the opening in the puncture needle holder, and is reduced by elastic deformation when the arms are housed in the opening.

A biological sample measurement apparatus includes container () having an opening in a top surface thereof and right and left accommodation chambers () and () formed by separating an inner space and the opening in container () by partition wall (), measurement device () accommodated in accommodation chamber () of container (), and a holder accommodated in accommodation chamber () of container () and holding measurement device (). Provided are recesses () configuring holding means holding measurement device () on an outer peripheral wall configuring accommodation chamber () or in accommodation chamber () in a state where sensor mounting section () of measurement device () is projected to an outside of accommodation chamber ().

Biological sample measurement apparatus

A puncture device capable of preventing needle stick accidents and of reducing the burden on patients during operation. In this puncture device, a puncture needle cartridge comprises: a lancet body having a puncture needle at one end with the other end being to be held by a puncture instrument body; a protective cap; and a puncture needle holder engaged with the lancet body to rotate together with the lancet body about a rotation axis P. A mounting member rotates together with the puncture needle holder with a boss guided by a slit through being pressed by the puncture needle cartridge in a direction of mounting in a case, and is mounted in the case. The protective cap, formed integrally with the lancet body, is prevented from rotating by being grasped and is separated from the lancet body with the rotation of the mounting member.

Puncture device

A puncture needle cartridge includes a puncture needle holder configured to be cylindrical, placed on an outer circumferential surface of a lancet body, and provided with an opening through which a puncture needle is allowed to protrude, and a protective cap adapted to cover and protect the opening and configured to be separable from the puncture needle holder. The protective cap includes a base adapted to cover the opening when the protective cap is joined and a pair of raised walls which protrude from the base toward the puncture needle holder and whose tip portions are placed facing each other. Tip portions of the raised walls pinch the puncture needle holder by spreading against elastic deformation when the protective cap is joined to the puncture needle holder, and when the protective cap is separated from the puncture needle holder, a space between the tip portions becomes smaller than outside diameter of the puncture needle holder due to elastic deformation.
