To prevent yarn from being cut when an operating spinning machine stops, thereby preventing subsequent re-activation from being affected. In a spinning machine for manufacturing yarn by passing a fiber bundle that exits a draft apparatus 1 through a spinning nozzle 2 injecting a swirling air current and then through a twisting apparatus 3 that twists the fiber bundle in a direction reverse to that of the swirling air current, each spinning unit is driven independently, and the draft apparatus 1 can be decelerated or accelerated with the speed ratio of each pair of rollers being maintained. When the spinning is stopped or activated, the draft apparatus 1 and the twisting apparatus 3 simultaneously decelerate or accelerate so as to be simultaneously stopped or activated, and in response to this operation, air injection from the spinning nozzle 2 stops or starts.

Spinning machine and its operation method

A method for producing a spun yarn from staple fiber sliver by supplying an additional yarn of a different nature to the staple fiber sliver while drafting same, and imparting twists thereto by the use of an air injection nozzle. The supply of the additional yarn is started after arrival of the staple fiber sliver at the air injection nozzle.

Method for producing spun yarns

A system for automatically supplying tapered paper tubes to an automatic winder which includes a number of winding units. The system includes a paper tube discharging device which provide a stock section for retaining tapered tubes in heaped up condition and a releasing section for separating lowermost ones of the heaped up paper tubes in the stock section. The separated paper tubes are transported one by one along a paper tube transporting path and fed to each winding unit.

A L-shaped bunch winding-regulating guide is fixed to a cradle arm so that while a bobbin holder is located at the position for bunch winding on a bobbin, a yarn gripped by the bobbin and bobbin holder is inhibited from shifting to the traverse region on rotation of the bobbin.
