The invention relates to a herbicide composition containing (A) an amino acid-based herbicide and (B) a compound having a branched structure represented by formula (1):RCHO&#x2014;(RO)H&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)wherein Rrepresents a C3 to C29 branched alkyl or branched alkenyl group, Rrepresents a C2 to C4 alkylene group, and n is a mean number in the range of 1 to 30.

Herbicide composition

A novel water dispersible cold rolling oil composition for aluminum and aluminum-containing alloys comprising (a) one or more lube oil components selected from mineral oils, higher fatty alcohols, higher fatty esters and higher fatty acids, and (b) a specific water soluble cationic or amphoteric polymer compound. The composition provides a cold rolling lubricant which possesses excellent cooling capability, rolling lubricity and circulation stability, and can be readily controlled in operation.

A phosphoric monoester of an organic hydroxy compound can be produced in a high concentration in accordance with a two-step reaction. In a first step, the organic hydroxy compound is esterified in the presence of an excess amount of one or more phosphorylating agents selected from the group consisting of phosphorus pentoxide, phosphoric acid and polyphosphoric acids. A further portion of the same organic hydroxy compound is added, in a second step, to the reaction mixture of the first step to make the overall quantity of the organic hydroxy compound equivalent to its stoichiometric quantity.
