A sheet stacking device including: a stacking unit; and a regulation member movably supported by the stacking unit and contacting a sheet edge to regulate a sheet position. The regulation member includes: a locking member movable between an engagement position and a disengagement position; a biasing member biasing the locking member toward the engagement position; a force receiver receiving a user operation; a releaser converting a first force in a first direction applied to the force receiver into a second force in a second direction opposing a biasing force from the biasing member, moving the locking member from the engagement position to the disengagement position; and a stopper that, after the locking member disengages from the engaging portion and a user operation is not applied to the force receiver, prevents a movement of the locking member back to the engagement position due to the biasing force from the biasing member.

Sheet stacking device, image forming device, and regulation member

An image forming apparatus includes: a conveying unit configured to convey a sheet along a conveyance path group including at least a first conveyance path and a second conveyance path joining the first conveyance path; an image forming unit; and a path switcher, wherein: the path switcher includes: a guide unit configured to rotate about a guide supporting point and rotate between a first position and a second position; a protruding portion fixed to the guide unit; a drive lever having a first pressing surface and a second pressing surface; a first force applying unit; and a second force applying unit; the drive lever includes: a first lever; a second lever; a third force applying unit; and a restraining portion configured to set a moving end on the rotation of the second lever; and the restraining portion restricts the moving end of the second lever to a predetermined position.

Image forming apparatus

In a roller member where a rotary shaft is inserted through a through-hole of a roller part so that the roller part is removably mounted on the rotary shaft, the rotary shaft is provided with a positioning retention part for retaining one end of the roller part. Further, the rotary shaft is provided with an engagement recess at place on its portion outward of the other end of the roller part. An engagement protrusion is provided at a snap fit portion extended axially outward from the other end of the roller part. In a state where the snap fit portion is elastically deformed in a direction opposite to the extension direction, the engagement protrusion is engaged with the engagement recess.

Roller member, sheet feeder and image forming apparatus

A base station is installed in a predetermined area where a large number of target points are studded around the station. When the operator moves a mobile station around the base station, display means is provided for both or either of the base station that guides the operator and the mobile station, and a display screen of the display means displays 2 kinds of a Forward (foreground) mode and a Back (background) mode. In the Forward (foreground) mode, the display screen of the display means displays a landscape in a forward direction (opposite direction to the mobile station by 180&#xb0; when seen from the base station) of the operator (mobile station) when the operator sees the base station from the current position of the mobile station, or from the next target point if the operator reaches the next target point. In the Back (backward) mode, the display screen of the display means displays the landscape in a backward direction (direction of the operator and the mobile station when seen from the base station) of the operator (mobile station) when the operator sees the base station from the current position of the mobile station, or from the next target point if the operator reaches the next target point. The relationship between the mobile station and the next target point is displayed on an imaginary landscape in an imaginary manner so that the operator can see the direction and distance for movement.

Operator guiding system

A position measuring instrument according to the present invention comprises a turning unit and a fixed unit, irradiates a target to be measured with measuring light to determine a distance, a direction, and a position on the basis of its reflected light. A light source unit emits measuring light; a light receiving unit receives its reflected light; a radiating means radiates measuring light in a direction which can be set freely, and directs its reflected light to the light receiving unit; an angle detecting means detects a direction in which the radiating means radiates light; the light source unit and the light receiving unit are fixedly provided; the light source unit emits measuring light toward the radiating means; and the light receiving unit receives reflected light from the target to be measured.

Rotating position measuring instrument

A device for detecting optical position, comprising a photodetection unit having a photodetection optical axis and for outputting a photodetection signal corresponding to a light receiving position of a projected light beam, and a modulation grid arranged on said photodetection optical axis and for equalizing distribution of light quantity of a received light beam, wherein a position of the light beam projected on the photodetection unit is detected based on said photodetection signal.

Automatic survey instrument

There is disclosed an automatic biochemical analyzer having a sample turntable and a reaction turntable. Plural sample containers for holding samples are arrayed on the sample turntable. Plural reaction containers are arrayed on the reaction turntable. A sampling pipette draws in a sample from some sampling container and injects the sample into some reaction container. A reagent pipette draws in some reagent from some reagent container and injects the reagent into the same reaction container. The resulting mixture is stirred by a stirring device. Produced reaction products are detected by a detector. Let N be the number of the reaction containers on the reaction turntable. The reaction turntable is rotated in M pitches in one step. Note that M and N do not have any common factor. First and second injecting positions adjacent to each other are established as positions where the reagent pipette can inject a reagent into the reaction container in position. First and second stirring positions adjacent to each other are established as positions where the stirring device can stir liquids in the reaction container in position. The stirring device can be moved between the first and second stirring positions. Thus, one reagent pipette can be used for two kinds of reagents. Also, one stirring device can be used for two kinds of reagents.

Automatic biochemical analyzer

There is disclosed a pipette-washing device for use with an automatic biochemical analyzer. The pipette-washing device includes a wash fluid-ejecting block for ejecting a wash fluid toward pipette. An upwardly spreading groove is formed in the top surface of the body of the block and extends along the trajectory of the front end of the pipette. The groove is connected at its lower end with the vertical wash fluid channel. A lateral draining channel is formed in the body of the block and connected with the lower end of the vertical wash fluid channel. When the pipette moves, the front end of the pipette moves through the groove. The block is inclined at an angle to the vertical within a plane in which the groove extends.

Pipette-washing device for automatic biochemical analyzer

There is disclosed a small-sized automatic biochemical analyzer requiring reduced amounts of reagents. An original sample is transferred to diluting containers on a diluting turntable. The diluted sample is transferred to reaction containers on a reaction turntable and analyzed. The original sample is once diluted. The aliquots of sample are taken from the diluted sample. Thus, a limitation imposed by the minimum volume of liquid that the instrument can meter out can be overcome. Let N be the total number of the diluting containers on the diluting turntable. The turntable is rotated in M pitches at a time. M and N do not have any common factor.

A rotating and driving system for a survey instrument, wherein a driven wheel is mounted on a shaft of a movable unit and a slide baseplate is disposed on the shaft so as to be movable in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the shaft. A gear, driven by a motor, is mounted on the slide baseplate in such a position that the gear can be engaged with the driven wheel when the slide baseplate is pushed in the proper direction. By providing engaging force between the driven wheel and the gear, backlash is suppressed, and positioning can be achieved at higher accuracy.

Rotating and driving system for survey instrument

A laser beam controller for surveying equipment comprises a laser beam irradiation unit for irradiating a target with a laser beam, an observation unit for observing the laser beam reflected from the target and a light quantity controlling unit for controlling the quantity of the laser beam projected to the target. The laser beam controller is capable of constantly controlling the quantity of the laser beam incident on the observation optical system within a range which allows the observation of a laser beam spot and which has no harmful influence on the observer's eyes.

There is disclosed a rotation axis fine adjustment apparatus for finely adjusting rotation of a mounting portion rotatably mounted on a rotation axis with respect to a base portion through a fastening frame by suitably fastening and finely adjusting the rotation axis. It comprising an outer tube inserted in and fixed to the mounting portion with its end portion projecting outward; an intermediate hollow axial body formed at its outer peripheral surface with a flange portion and at its inner peripheral portion with a female thread portion, and inserted into inside of the outer tube and concentrically secured to the outer tube by screw means with the flange portion abutted against the end portion and other outer tubes kept being spaced apart from the outer tube; a fastening intermediate hollow axial body rotatably attached to an inner side of the outer tube at outside of the intermediate hollow axial body, and fixed at its one end with a fastening control handle; and a fine adjustment axial body formed with a male thread portion for being in threaded engagement with the female thread portion and reciprocally movably attached to an inner side of the intermediate hollow axial body in order to finely rotate the mounting portion, and coaxially fixed at its one end with a fine adjustment control handle with respect to the fastening control handle.

An improved telescope is disclosed in which an adjusting member for adjusting the reticule can be fitted on an optical axis thereof. The improved telescope has a reticule disposed at an ocular side in a lens-barrel and including a cross line for collimation; a reticule holding member including a front surface parallel to the reticule surface and a rear surface having at its periphery an inclined portion inclining with respect to the cross line surface and disposed within the lens-barrel for holding the reticule; a reticule holding member fitting portion disposed within the lens-barrel and receiving the reticule holding member by abutting against its front surface of the reticule holding member; and an adjusting member abutted against the inclined portion of the rear surface of the reticule holding member from the ocular side toward the optical axis direction to move the reticule holding member in order to adjust the cross line to the optical axis.
