There is provided a tape cartridge including: a tape roll including a tape and a tape core which is provided with a core hole and around which the tape is wound; and a cartridge case accommodating the tape roll, and including a first case portion having a first base wall portion and a first core projection protruding from the first base wall portion in a first direction, and a third case portion having a third base wall portion and a third core projection protruding from the third base wall portion in a third direction opposite to the first direction and inserted into the core hole, in which the tape core is provided with an insertion receiving section which is positioned on a radially outer side of the tape core with respect to the core hole and into which the first core projection is inserted.

A cartridge, that can reduce the diameter of a winding core, to be installed in a tape printing device includes: a cartridge case that constitutes an outer shell of the cartridge and accommodates a printing tape, a tape core on which the printing tape is wound, an ink ribbon, and a winding core; a core concave part on the cartridge case and into which a core convex part is inserted from a back side in an installation direction when the cartridge is installed in a cartridge installation part; and a cartridge-side first engagement part and a cartridge-side second engagement part that engage a device-side first engagement part and a device-side second engagement part, respectively, when the core convex part is inserted into the core concave part to change a state of a torque switching mechanism from a second to a first state or from the first to the second state.

A cartridge that makes it possible to simultaneously set a printing tape and a cartridge in a tape printing device. A cartridge to be installed in a tape printing device includes: a cartridge case; a cartridge-side tape introduction port that introduces a printing tape introduced from a device-side tape introduction port into the cartridge case and a cartridge-side tape ejection port that ejects the printing tape to an outside of the cartridge case toward a device-side tape ejection port in a state in which the cartridge is installed in a cartridge installation part; and a tape retention part that retains the printing tape that is introduced in advance into a tape path between the cartridge-side tape introduction port and the cartridge-side tape ejection port before the cartridge is installed in the cartridge installation part.

A cartridge configured to be mounted on a tape printer, the cartridge includes a ribbon roll around which an ink ribbon is wound, and a cartridge case configured to accommodate a tape roll around which a tape is wound and that accommodates the ribbon roll, in which the cartridge case includes a third case portion, a first case portion that constitutes a tape roll accommodating portion accommodating the tape roll between the first case portion and the third case portion, and a second case portion that is separated from the first case portion and accommodates the ribbon roll between the second case portion and the third case portion, and the first case portion is configured to open and close the tape roll accommodating portion.

A cartridge is installed in a tape printing device including a cartridge installation part, a printing head that is provided in the cartridge installation part and performs printing on a printing tape, and a device case, the device case having a device-side tape introduction port that introduces the printing tape from an outside to an inside of the device case and a device-side tape ejection port that ejects the printing tape to the outside of the device case. A cartridge reduces a movement amount of a center of gravity of a cartridge accompanied by the progress of the winding of an ink ribbon. A cartridge to be installed in a tape printing device includes: a cartridge case having a cartridge-side tape ejection port; a tape path that feeds a printing tape toward the cartridge-side tape ejection port; a platen roller that applies a feeding force to the printing tape; and an electrode part. When seen from a front side in an installation direction of the cartridge, a feeding angle that is an angle formed by a feeding direction of the printing tape at a portion at which the feeding force is applied to the printing tape by the platen roller when the printing tape is fed with respect to a direction in which the electrode part receives a force from a contact terminal part is less than 45&#xb0;.

Disclosed is a tape supplying body including: a tape roll on which a tape to be fed to a tape printing apparatus is wound; a first member provided on a bottom surface of the tape roll; and a second member, wherein the second member has a running-onto prevention part that is provided at an upper surface of the tape roll and prevents the tape from running onto the tape roll, a tape receiving part that is provided at a bottom surface of the first member and receives the tape dropping from the first member, and a connection part that is provided on a radially outer side of the tape roll and connects the running-onto prevention part and the tape receiving part to each other.

Disclosed is a tape supplying device that supplies a printing tape fed out from a tape roll having the printing tape wound therein to a tape printing device, the tape supplying device including: a roll supporting part that supports the tape roll in a posture in which a rotation axis of the tape roll crosses a mounting surface on which the tape printing device and the tape supplying device are mounted, wherein the tape supplying device supplies the printing tape to the tape printing device in a state in which the tape supplying device is not installed on the tape printing device.
