Ultravioletsetting resin composition contains fragmentary quartz glass powder in the ratio of 50 to 200 parts to 100 parts of the ultravioletsetting resin. The surface hardness of the ultravioletsetting resin of the present invention is increased in a short time by the application of ultraviolet rays.

A vibration wave motor includes a stator with an upper surface at which is generated a travelling vibration, a rotor with a lower surface rotatably mounted on the upper surface of the stator, and an urging device for developing a frictional force between the upper surface of the stator and the lower surface of the rotor. A sheet member is attached to either the upper surface of the stator or the lower surface of the rotor and the sheet member includes a base member having ultra heat-resistant properties, a fluorine-contained resin and a filler in the form of fibers.

A method of sealing electric and electonic parts, comprising employing two different ultraviolet-curing resins for upper and lower layer portions, respectively, the resin employed for the upper layer portion having a smaller specific gravity than that of the resin for the lower layer portion before the resins are cured, and simultaneously curing the resins by irradiation with an ultraviolet ray. The ultraviolet-curing resin employed for the upper layer portion is an epoxy acrylate or epoxy resin, while an urethane acrylate ultraviolet-curing resin is employed for the lower layer portion, and the thickness of the ultraviolet-curing resin employed for the upper layer portion is set at from 0.5 mm to 3 mm.

Method of sealing electric and electronic parts

An outer door handle, for example for a vehicle, includes a stationary casing fixed to the door and a handle member movably mounted on the door adjacent the case and connected to the opening mechanism of the door. In order to improve appearance of the handle while maintaining good physical strength, either the handle member or casing is composed of a base portion formed of thermoplastic material having glass fibers, and a thin film laminated on the base portion, the thin film lacking glass fibers.

A seat cover for an automotive vehicle which has inflatable, transversely extending columnar portions for providing support to the seated individual, especially to the lumbar region, and heat-retaining portions, filled with a heat-retaining agent such as polyethylene glycol, interspersed among the inflatable columnar portions for accumulating ambient heat derived from sunlight and for giving off said heat when the ambient temperature drops. Means for inflating the columnar portions manually are provided.

An article, obtained by injection molding, includes a first member on which an electrical element such as a coil is provided or mounted and a second member, surrounding the first member, formed integrally therewith. A first radially inward projection of the second member is in abutment with a first annular flange of the first member. A second radially inward projection of the second member is fitted in and welded to a vee on the first annular flange. Such weld acts as a seal for water-proofing the electric element. For preventing separation of weld due to repetition of radial expansion of electrical element upon current application thereto, a connecting means is provided between the first radially inward projection and the first annular flange.
