The invention provides a piping wall thinning prediction system, a piping soundness evaluation system, and a method which can evaluate a wall thinning amount, a wall thinning rate, and a remaining life at a high speed based on limited actual measurement results, and identify a location requiring monitoring in a piping in a plant. The wall thinning prediction system includes: a first AI evaluation unit configured to evaluate a fluid characteristic value of a piping based on an input value including piping shape information and information of a fluid in the piping; and a second AI evaluation unit configured to evaluate an index related to wall thinning of the piping based on an input value including the fluid characteristic value. The wall thinning prediction system is configured to predict the index related to the wall thinning of the piping.

An ultrasonic inspection system includes: an ultrasonic sensor including a piezoelectric element and a calibration piece interposed between the piezoelectric element and a subject; and a control device that computes a thickness of the subject, on the basis of a difference between an ultrasonic propagation time of one round trip in the calibration piece and the subject and an ultrasonic propagation time of one round trip in the calibration piece. The calibration piece includes: a propagation portion extending along a surface of the subject, the propagation portion having the piezoelectric element adhering to an end face on one side in a direction in which the propagation portion extends; and a propagation-direction turn portion formed on another side in the direction in which the propagation portion extends, the propagation-direction turn portion having a bottom face in contact with the surface of the subject through a contact medium and an inclined face inclining with respect to a direction vertical to the surface of the subject.

Ultrasonic inspection system

An ultrasonic inspection system includes an ultrasonic sensor which includes a piezoelectric element to transmit and receive an ultrasonic wave and a calibration piece, and a control device. The calibration piece includes a propagation portion extending along an upper surface of the piezoelectric element, and a propagation redirecting portion which is formed on one side in an extending direction of the propagation portion, and is connected to the piezoelectric element through a heat resistant adhesive. The propagation redirecting portion includes a slope inclined in a vertical direction to the upper surface of the piezoelectric element. The propagation redirecting portion is configured to reflect the ultrasonic wave incident on the propagation redirecting portion from the piezoelectric element on the slope and emit the ultrasonic wave toward the propagation portion, and reflect the ultrasonic wave which is reflected on an end surface on the other side in the extending direction of the propagation portion and incident on the propagation redirecting portion from the propagation portion on the slope and emit the ultrasonic wave toward the piezoelectric element.

Provided is a sensor system which can detect a thickness reduction, a crack, or the like of a pipe or a container covered with a thick coating member through ultrasonic inspection without attachment and detachment of the coating member. A sensor system used for nondestructive inspection includes a sensor attached to a surface of an inspection target, a sensor coil that is electrically connected to the sensor via a first cable, a first electromagnetic wave blocking member that is disposed between the surface of the inspection target and the sensor coil, a sensor side coil that is disposed to face the sensor coil with a gap and is coupled to the sensor coil through electromagnetic induction, and a probe side coil that is disposed to be separated from the sensor side coil and is electrically connected to the sensor side coil via a second cable.

Sensor system

An ultrasonic inspection system includes an ultrasonic sensor and a control device. The ultrasonic sensor has a piezoelectric element that transmits and receives ultrasonic waves and plate portions and that are arranged so as to contact an upper surface of the piezoelectric element and have different thicknesses. The control device acquires a propagation time of a reflected wave reflected on an upper surface of the plate portion, calculates a sound velocity of the plate portion using the propagation time of the reflected wave and a thickness of the plate portion, and corrects a sound velocity of a pipe and acquires a sound velocity of the plate portion based on the calculated sound velocity. In addition, the control device acquires a propagation time of a reflected wave reflected on an upper surface of the plate portion, and calibrates a time axis based on the propagation time of the reflected wave, a thickness of the plate portion, and the sound velocity of the plate portion.

A heat exchanger has a tubular structure inside of which a medium flows. The heat exchanger includes a liquid film removal structure and a liquid film flowing-down assistance structure. The liquid film removal structure is joined to the tubular structure. The liquid film flowing-down assistance structure is coupled directly to the liquid film removal structure and is arranged between the tubular structure and an adjacent tubular structure and in parallel to the tubular structure.
