A conductor having a conductive terminal; an intermediate insulator housing the terminal; an outer conductor part that is an integrated molded product formed from a conductive metal plate housing the intermediate insulator; and a housing formed from an insulating material, which housing houses the outer conductor part; wherein the outer conductor part includes: a cylindrical main body part formed from a curved plate, a plate-like rear plate part electrically connected to a rear end of the main body part, which rear plate part closes the rear end of the main body part; and left and right leg parts extending downward from a cylindrical wall of the main body part, the rear plate part includes left and right anchor parts extending forward from left and right ends of the rear plate part, the housing includes slit-shaped left and right anchor housing parts extending forward, and the outer conductor part is housed in the housing, and each anchor part is inserted into and retained by a corresponding anchor housing part.

To provide a connector wherein ground terminals can be designed easily, which not only suppresses the occurrence of impedance mismatch and crosstalk, but which does not lead to interferences between contacting portions. A ground terminal for a connector has a cylindrical main body. A plurality of contacting portions, for contacting a circuit board, are formed on the bottom edge of the cylindrical main body. The ground terminal has, as contacting portions, inner contacting portions and outer contacting portions. The inner contacting portions extend toward the inside of the cylindrical main body and in the downward direction, and the outer contacting portions extend toward the inside of the cylindrical main body and in the downward direction.

Connector and semiconductor testing device having the same

A connector is disclosed having a flat cable connecting portion connected to a flat cable and a flat mating portion mated with another connector. The connector comprises a plurality of terminals arranged on the mating portion for establishing contact with terminals on the other connector, a conductive connecting portion exposed on the cable connecting portion and connected to conductive trace connecting portions on the flat cable, and a plurality of wiring lines extending from the mating portion to the cable connecting portion, each one electrically connecting a terminal to the corresponding conductive trace connecting portion. The conductive connecting portion has a protrusion formed on the wiring lines. The upper surface of the protrusion is substantially the same height as one outer surface of the cable connecting portion.

Connector

Each terminal member of a first connector includes a protruding terminal, and each terminal member of a second connector includes an opening able to accommodate a protruding terminal. The terminal members form a plurality of rows at a fixed interval in the width direction of the main body portion, and each terminal member is staggered in the width direction with respect to the terminal member in the adjacent row. At least the terminal members on the first connector or the second connector are connected to the tip of the plurality of parallel wiring provided in a different layer than the terminal member in the main body portion.

Each of the signal terminal and the ground terminal includes a first extending portion extending toward its tip end, and a second extending portion extending in a direction opposite to the first extending portion. The first extending portion is formed such that a width thereof is smaller than a width of the second extending portion. The housing includes a first housing into which the first extending portions are inserted, and a second housing into which the second extending portions are inserted. The second housing is formed separately from the first housing, and the first housing includes a wall portion located between the first extending portion of the signal terminal and the first extending portion of the ground terminal.

Connector and semiconductor testing device including the connector

A connector includes a first terminal. The first terminal includes a movable portion, and the movable portion has, on its tip side, a contact portion located on a course C of a case assembly. Further, the first terminal includes a fixed portion restricted from moving and located on a base side of the movable portion. The movable portion is elastically deformable to incline toward a side surface of an insertion hole while using the fixed portion as a fixed point. Further, the movable portion includes a hit portion between the contact portion and the fixed portion. The hit portion is located apart from the side surface of the insertion hole, and the hit portion is provided capable of hitting, midway during inclining of the movable portion toward the side surface of the insertion hole, against the side surface of the insertion hole.

The connector includes an enclosure including insertion holes formed therein, into which tip end portions of coaxial cables provided with signal terminals and with ground terminals arranged at parts of peripheries of the signal terminals are inserted, and auxiliary ground conductors, which are retained by the enclosure, are electrically connected to the ground terminals, and are arranged at other parts of the peripheries of the signal terminals.

Connector, cable assembly, and semiconductor testing device

A probe connector () connects a circuit board () and a coaxial plug () including an axial terminal () and a surrounding terminal (). A coaxial probe () of the probe connector includes a center terminal () connected to the circuit board and the axial terminal; and an outer terminal () coaxial with the center terminal and connected to the circuit board and the surrounding terminal. The outer terminal includes an cylindrical outer conductor () surrounding the center terminal and mated with the surrounding terminal; an anchor () formed, as a projection (), on part of an outer surface of the outer conductor by machining process so that a hole is formed on the part of the outer surface; and a conductive cover () covering and closing the hole and electrically conducted to the outer conductor. Thus, the position of the coaxial probe is slightly shifted even when the coaxial plug is inserted thereto or pulled therefrom.

Probe connector

A connector includes a signal terminal, an insulating member, a ground terminal and an enclosure. The signal terminal has a main body extending in one direction, and a contact arm provided on each side of the main body for contacting another conductor. The insulating member encloses the main body. The ground terminal has a cylindrical main body enclosing the insulating member, and a contact arm provided on each side of the cylindrical main body for contacting another conductor. The cylindrical main body includes first and second semi-cylindrical parts, each having semi cylindrical shapes. The semi-cylindrical parts make a cylindrical shape as a whole by both end parts of the circumferential direction being assembled so as to mutually overlap. An insertion hole is formed in the enclosure where an assembly of the signal element, the insulating member and the ground terminal are inserted.

Connector and semiconductor test device

A ground terminal has a cylindrical main body. A signal terminal has a terminal main body that is disposed on the inside of the cylindrical main body, and a connecting plate portion that extends from an end portion of the terminal main body. Additionally, a ground terminal has at least three connecting plate portions that are disposed so as to encompass the connecting plate portion of the ground terminal, each extending from mutually different positions on an edge of the cylindrical main body.

Connector and semiconductor testing device using the same

A coaxial connector (), which is attached to a circuit board () having a land (), includes a coaxial terminal () having a coaxial structure including a centre terminal () and a cylindrical outer terminal () surrounding the centre terminal; a housing () accommodating the coaxial terminal; a cylindrical contact () movable in an axial direction of an axis of the outer terminal and brought into contact with the land; a biasing member () biasing the cylindrical contact so that the cylindrical contact projects from the housing; and a rotation mechanism which rotates the cylindrical contact about the axis when the cylindrical contact is pushed into the housing against a biasing force of the biasing member. Accordingly, the coaxial connector capable of performing wiping in a terminal having the coaxial structure, such as a probe, is provided.

Coaxial connector

A method of tracking and acting on events related to the delivery of a mail piece is provided. An integrated record associated with an addressee of a mail piece is created. The mail piece is given a unique identifier, is associated with the addressee, and is placed in a mail stream with the date and nature of associated delivery events being recorded. After a predetermined delivery event occurs, a follow-up communication is transmitted to the addressee, and the date of this follow-up communication is recorded. The date of any response by the addressee to the follow-up communication is also recorded. To the integrated record associated with the addressee is added the date and nature of the delivery events associated with the mail piece, the date of the follow-up communication, and the date of any response by the addressee to the follow-up communication.

Camera socket module

A module socket for use with camera modules has an insulative housing with a base and four walls extending upward. The base and walls have L-shaped terminal-receiving cavities that receive terminal therein. The terminals extend between the two legs of the L-shaped cavities so as to position a terminal contact portion in opposition to contacts on the bottom surface of a camera module. Two metal retainers are applied to two opposing walls of the housing and these retainers have locking arms that extend horizontally into the interior space of the housing. The locking arms each include separate angled guide members and engagement members, the first of which guide a module into the socket and the second of which retain the module in place within the socket.

Module socket

A waterproof connector with sealing capability includes a connector housing with a plurality of conductive terminals mounted therein. The terminals are arranged around the perimeter of a circle with contact portions exposed at the radial outermost extents along the circle. The housing has a central opening around which the terminals are arranged and the terminals are each bent into a circular arc in their mounting on the housing. The housing is over molded around the terminal at intermediate portions thereof to provide a liquid proof barrier.
