An illuminated switch device including a single light source and an operating knob provided with an indicator adapted to be illuminated in different selective colors by a light from the light source. The switch device further includes a light transmissive member fixed to the operating knob, a case for slidably mounting the operating knob therein which case has first and second openings at positions perpendicular to each other, a shutter rotatably supported to the case and adapted to selectively open and close the first and second openings by reciprocation of the operating knob, and transparent color filters having a light transmissivity provided in light paths passing through the first and second openings.

Illuminated switch device

A push switch comprises first and second push/lock mechanisms, and first and second switch units. The operating members of the first and second push/lock mechanisms are disposed opposite to the corresponding levers of the first and second switch units. A first driving pin whose one end is secured to the slider of the first switch unit is pressably engaged at the other end with cam member of the second push/lock mechanism, whereas a second driving pin whose one end is secured to the slider of the second switch unit is pressably engaged at the other end with the cam member of the first push/lock mechanism.

Push switch

A switch assembly has a holder which supports a switch and a light source inside. The holder is formed with a concavity recessed down from a central portion of the upper surface, and the cavity is formed with a hole at the bottom to expose a lever or knob of the switch. The concavity has a light hole communicating the light source to guide a light beam to the lever or knob.

Illuminative switch assembly

A device for moving a door provided in an air conditioner upstream of an area in which cold air and hot air are mixed to produce a stream of air having an appropriate temperature includes an electric motor which is rotatable in either direction for rotating the door in either direction. An electric switch is connected to the motor for controlling its operation. The switch is reciprocatively slidable by a lever. A cam follower is connected to the motor reciprocatively slidably in parallel to the switch for changing an electrical circuit connection between the switch and the motor. The cam follower is connected to the motor by a wire and the door is also connected to the motor by a wire. The switch has a rotatable arm which is engageable with the cam follower. The arm has a neutral position in which it is engaged with the cam follower so that no electric current may be supplied to the motor. The arm is rotatable in two opposite directions from its neutral position. If it is rotated in either direction, the motor is rotated for moving the cam follower toward the switch until the arm is brought back to its neutral position.

Air conditioner with motor controlled door

An air-conditioning control apparatus for an automobile, in which an angle of opening and closing an air-mixing door is varied to thereby set a temperature of output air, has an operating lever formed with a switch operating portion for switching an intake door and a pin insert groove. The operating lever is coupled to a traction lever formed with an engaging portion with which is engaged a wire for driving the air-mixing door and a guide groove facing to the pin insert groove. A pin member is inserted between the pin insert groove and the guide groove, a first spring for urging the pin member toward one end of the pin insert groove, and a second spring for urging the traction lever toward the closing position of the door.

Air-conditioning control apparatus

An air conditioner control system for adjusting the mixing ratio of warm and cool winds by controlling the opening angle of the air mixing door of an air conditioner. The control system includes a base board formed with for wiring patterns and a contact lever made swingable on a common point shared with the base board and carrying a pair of sliding contacts for sliding into selective contact with the wiring patterns. The contact lever is adapted to engage with a control knob, and the base board is connected to a motor actuator. The air mixing door is opened or closed in accordance with the movement of the control knob so that the base board may accordingly be swung in the lever moving direction.
