A piston damper has a cylinder including an attachment portion; a piston reciprocatingly disposed inside the cylinder; and a rod including an attachment portion that is moved synchronously with the piston. Each of the attachment portions of the cylinder and the rod is adapted to connect to different one of a first member and a second member to damp a movement of the other member relative to one member among both the members. At least one of the attachment portion of the cylinder and the attachment portion of the rod is formed with a fitting hole, and the attachment portion is axially supported in a fitted state between the fitting hole and an axis relative to at least one of the first member and the second member, and includes an urging device absorbing looseness of the fitting hole relative to the axis.

Piston damper

A damper device includes a protruding portion located outside a closing portion of a cylinder body facing a piston body and forming a flow path communicating inside and outside of the cylinder body; a plug body including a shaft portion inserted into the flow path from an outside of the cylinder body; and an urging device of the plug body. An insertion length of the shaft portion of the plug-like body into the flow path against urging of the urging device increases by change in pressure due to a movement or a relative movement of the piston body in a direction separating from the closing portion of the cylinder body.

Damper device

A cylinder body is partitioned by a partition into a first chamber that is divided from an outside by a cap body and a second chamber accommodating a piston body. A flow channel communicating the first chamber and the second chamber with each other is formed in the partition, and a shaft is projected from the partition onto the first chamber side. The cap body includes a through-hole, the shaft is inserted movably in the through-hole from a reference position along an axis line direction of the cylinder body. There is provided a throttle structure that changes a gap between the through-hole and the shaft when the cap body moves from the reference position by a pressure change generated by a movement or a relative movement of the piston body.

A rotation control device is configured so that a spring force of a torsion coil spring holds an attitude of a rotation body at a pre-advancement position corresponding to a post-return position (a), and a post-advancement position corresponding to a pre-return position (b), respectively. The rotation control device includes a first rotation part supporting one end of the torsion coil spring and supported on a fixed body so as to rotate as the rotation body rotates, and a second rotation part rotatably supported on the fixed body at a first rotation part side and supporting the other end of the torsion coil spring. When the first rotation part rotates, the second rotation part rotates together with the first rotation part. A wound portion of the torsion coil spring is most elastically deformed when the rotation body is at an intermediate position (c) between the position (a) and the position (b).

Rotation control device for rotation body

An article-attaching device includes a casing and a holding member fitted into the casing. The holding member has engageable portions configured to be engageable with a hook of an article. The holding member includes a frame portion fitted to the casing and a pair of torsionally-deformable members extending downward from opposed portions of the frame portion. The torsionally-deformable members have engageable portions and a hook receiver under the engageable portions. A hook passes between the engageable portions from inside of the frame portion, causing the respective torsionally-deformable members to be elastically spread and be torsionally deformed, followed by entering the receiver to be prevented from coming out thereof.

Article installation device

A container holding unit includes an abutting portion and an urging device for urging the abutting portion to a circumference of a container to constrain the container. The container holding unit further includes a case having a first guide grove and a second guide grove extending downwardly. The abutting portion includes a first shaft inserted in the first guide grove and a second shaft inserted in the second guide grove, so that the abutting portion slides relative to the case. The abutting portion is rotatable in a direction that a projecting amount of the abutting portion from the case decreases when an upward force is applied from below. The urging device urges the abutting portion in a direction that the abutting portion projects from the case, and in a direction that the abutting portion returns to an initial position.

Container holding unit and cup holder device

An ultrasonic transducer in which electrodes can be easily and positively joined to a multiplicity of micro-fabricated vibrators and electric wiring can be easily and positively provided. The ultrasonic transducer has a vibrator arrangement having vibrators provided in a predetermined arrangement, each vibrator having first and second electrodes; an interlayer board for holding the vibrator arrangement in which through-holes are respectively formed in positions corresponding to the second electrodes of the vibrators; and a wiring board having a plurality of electrodes electrically connected to the second electrodes of the vibrators through the through-holes formed in the interlayer board, respectively.

Ultrasonic transducer and method of manufacturing the same

A locking device includes an operating button and a lock member disposed in a case. When the operating button is pressed against an urging force of a spring member, the lock member switches from a locked position for restricting a movable member to move relative to a body to an unlocked position for allowing the movable member to move in an opening direction. A rotation guide device is disposed between the case and the operating button, so that the lock member switches from the locked position to the unlocked position when the movable member rotates in a direction opposite to the opening direction.

Locking device

A damping mechanism for an opening and closing member that opens and closes an opening while changing a center of rotation has an arm with damped rotational speed to support a shaft part of the opening and closing member. A position of the shaft part with respect to the arm is changed along with the opening and closing operation of the opening and closing member by a guide member. The arm is urged toward an opening direction of the opening and closing member by a forcing member, and the opening and closing member is maintained in a closed state against the force of the forcing member by a locking member.

Damping mechanism of opening and closing member, and container holder and automobile door including the same

A plate-making method is capable of recording a sharp image on a photosensitive plate, and is applicable to a process operation executed in a light room, while adverse influences caused by laser flares can be hardly received. Ultra-short pulse laser light emitted from a Ti:AlOlaser light source is modulated by an AOM (acousto-optic modulating element). The modulated laser light is focused by a collective lens onto a high-sensitive photopolymer layer of a photosensitive plate-making material. The focused ultra-short pulse laser light may cause a photopolymerization reaction in a laser-light-irradiated portion of the high-sensitive photopolymer layer by way of a multiple photon absorption phenomenon, so as to form a hardened portion.

Plate-making method, plate-making apparatus used in such plate-making method, and image recording material

A laser annealer has a laser light source with at least one GaN-type semiconductor laser and is configured so as to form emission points that emit laser beams having a wavelength of 350 to 450 nm, and a scanning device for scanning an annealing surface with the laser beams. The laser annealer may have a spatial light modulator for modulating the laser beams, and in which pixel portions whose light modulating states change in accordance with control signals are arranged on a substrate. The invention is applied to a laser thin-film forming apparatus. The apparatus has a laser source that has at least one semiconductor laser and is configured so as to form emission points, and an optical system for focusing laser beams into a single beam in the width direction of a substrate.

Laser annealer and laser thin-film forming apparatus

A radiator fastener which tightens a radiator to a car body includes a first engagement member having a fit protrusion piece and fixed to the car body, and a second engagement member with a fit depressed portion, which is free to be fitted to and removed from the fit protrusion piece of the first engagement member. The second engagement member is engaged with a part of the radiator through an elastic member, and is fixed to the first engagement member. The radiator fastener can be tightened through one-touch operation and this improves workability significantly.

An image-recording apparatus. In a housing of the apparatus are a casing section that encases a light and heat sensitive recording material, an optical recording section that exposes the light and heat sensitive recording material fed from the casing section to record a latent image, a thermal developing section that develops the latent image by heating, an optical fixing section that fixes the developed image by irradiating it with light, and an outlet through which the image-recorded material is taken out.

Light and thermal energy image-recording apparatus

A display device comprises a plurality of light modulating elements being arranged in an array. In the display device, an image is displayed by driving the light modulating elements and each of the light modulating elements has a pair of substrates which are spaced apart from each other; a fluid which is enclosed in a sealed space formed by a gap between the substrates; and a driving section which deforms the fluid in the sealed space to control an area of the fluid in the sealed space, the area extending in a face of at least one of the substrates, thereby adjusting an amount of transmitted light or reflected light.

Display device

A functional film, which has photo-catalytic effects, is overlaid on a surface of each of at least two substrate materials. The functional film, which has been overlaid on the surface of each of the substrate materials, is exposed to light having a wavelength falling within an absorption wavelength range of the functional film. The substrate materials are then bonded to each other with the functional films, which have been exposed to the light, intervening between the substrate materials. The functional film may be a film containing TiO, and the light irradiated to the functional film may be ultraviolet light. In cases where a film other than the functional film is also overlaid on the surface of each of the substrate materials, the functional film is formed as a top layer.
