A battery case and method of production of the same realizing smaller size, higher mountability, longer service life, and lower cost than in the past, that is, a battery case comprising a container body and a container cover, in which battery case, one or both of the container body and the container cover are made from a laminated steel sheet comprised of a plated steel sheet on which a film having a polyolefin-based resin as a main constituent is laminated, a joined part of the container body and the container cover has a welded part of the plated steel sheet, a melt bonded part of the film, and a gap part between the welded part and the melt bonded part, where a length of gap part/thickness of plated steel sheet ≤10.0 and a length of gap part/length of joined part <0.50, and at least part of the inside surface of the battery case is covered by the film, and a method of production of the same.

Hot stamped body

The present invention relates to a hot stamped body comprising a steel sheet and a plating layer formed on at least one surface of the steel sheet, wherein the plating layer is comprised of a ZnO region present on a surface side of the plating layer and having an oxygen concentration of 10 mass % or more and an Ni&#x2014;Fe&#x2014;Zn alloy region present on a steel sheet side of the plating layer and having an oxygen concentration of less than 10 mass %, and an average concentration of a total of Fe, Mn and Si in the ZnO region is 5 mass % or more and 30 mass % or less.

The invention provides a coated steel including a steel, a coated metal layer coated on a surface of the steel, and an interfacial alloy layer formed at the boundary between the steel and the coated metal layer, in which the coated metal layer has a predetermined composition and structure, and in which the thickness of the coated metal layer is 0.1 &#x3bc;m or more, and the thickness of the interfacial alloy layer is 500 nm or less.
